Santiago, Dominican Republic.- A group of Haitians on Thursday shot and stabbed a 63 year old Dominican to death in a banana plantation in the community Estancia Yaque, where police found his body.

After the crime dozens of Haitians were detained in a police sweep and an investigation has begun, as the situation concernst he zone’s inhabitants.

Another Dominican was killed by Haitians Monday in the community Hatillo Palma, La Canela district south of the city, and a third last week in the community Manga Larga, La Vega province, when the foreigner was caught stealing wires.

Most of the Haitians living in those places where these crimes have been committed were forced to leave to avoid being lynched by enraged Dominicans.

Well I don't f. hear that B. Sonia Pierre saying anything now about these animals killing our country men. I can only think that the killing occur because they were caught stealing platanos and in order to avoid going to jail they decided to kill the only material witness instead. Enough is enough we have to take the streets and fight for our nationality and to reclaim our country back from those hood lands that's all i got to say about this.

Soooooooo danny00's opinion on this is what? Not to blame Haitians for crimes they commit against Dominicans on Dominican soil?

And justifying that by stating that Dominicans rob, kill and rape Americans?

First of all, illegal Dominicans aren't committing these crimes to the point that it incites violence from the legal population. Illegal Haitians in DR, do.

The Dominican "plaga" you speak of should be purged from American society, same as the Haitian "plaga" from Dominican Society.

I think the way the DominicanToday is reporting those crimes is meant to inflame the population anger against Haitians. I told you again that the Haitians of today are not all like the ones in 1937, some will defend themselves and you'll have a war or a genocide in your hands. And the International Court in the Hague won't keep it arms crossed while the Dominican army is massacring our people. Now, just for one killing you round up several of them.
Haitians are not psychopathic killers, they won't go stab or hack you if they are not provoked.
You don't want them on your soil, then, don't let them come. You can't close your eyes on their peaceful invasion and then you think that you can unleash you population on them.
Why don't the DominicanToday ask Leonel Fernandez to eliminate the illegal migrant trade. Why does he enforce the immigration law in the border area? You look for problem that you refuse to solve, and then you point the finger at us. How do you call that?

Oupala!!! I missed your blind rhetoric!

"Peaceful Invasion"?!!!! As if the "peaceful" part is supposed to make the "invasion" part OK?!!

THAT is classic Oupalism!

I know you are intrigued by the obvious but you do not need to tell us about the ineffectiveness of our government. We know it all too well.

Do you not think we SHOULD be inflamed by this? Losing our own to a criminal is bad enough, but to a foreign criminal that shouldn't be there is worthy of everyone's anger!

"I told you again that the Haitians of today are not all like the ones in 1937" -

Are you warning against reprisals? Are you suggesting they be left alone or else?

The lack of border control is evident and frustrating to the Dominican population but that does not mean we have to sit back and be overrun by your "peaceful invasion"

When will the killing stops! I mean, is this going to end up like the situations in Africa where tribes going against each other? I really do feel that the way DominicanToday is reporting those crimes is meant to inflame, to incite the resentments and also to keep the extremists on both sides motivated with their rants. By the by. the weird thing is it is not even a matter of tribe on our island but rather a matter of ignorance and hatred both people have for one another based on old resentments that governments of both nations are not promoting calm.

Dominicans will "encourage" Haitians to repatriate themselves and it won't take genocide ,just enough consecutive and continuous actions to make them leave (in a hurry) of their own volition.The government cannot be accused because it is not the one doing this and they would not want to piss of the Dominican masses who may begin to realize that we have to big problems;

1.The Haitians
2.The government and the politicians

If the government does not act ,the people will and the pitiphiles in the forum will become livid and complain incessantly but I will just say ...I told you so!
The government is a co-conspirator in this disaster waiting to happen and if they want to keep their jobs ,they better start doing something about the Haitians because they are #2 on the list!

Relax; it was voted the safest city in the united states 2009, I have been there 3 times in the last year and to walk fifteen blocks in any direction from time square and have no worries...you couldn t say that 10 years ago.. I would suggest send some DR represenitives to NYC and find out what they did, cause it works..oh ya just dont send goverment officials they get to many trips any ways mix it up; send community leaders with a select few respected goverment officials.. it wont hurt. If the DR problem is Haitian and DR they will learn alot from the NYC melting pot.

This is the Haitian revolution. No respect for sovereignty, they refute our war of independence, which we gained from them, they still lay claim to our land. Mark my words, this is not the end of this. We need to close the border and deport them all.

We have streets that are written in chinese only..never saw that in the DR. I am of german decent ( ya stop with the square head jokes) the wall was ripped down.So that didnt work.. If imigration and illegals are the problem then step up the boarder security, Toughjob if you cant rely on any one. Most houses start at the foundation and work to the roof for protection. The roof is leaking in the DR and when it stops every thing else will become dry including all the public servants ( imigration, police, military, boarder patrol). Sovereingnty is very important as long as EVERY one buys into to it. Its hard ;racial violence is not the solution to any problem history will tell you that..remember I said I was of German descent.

Then, you're going to let them come and then, when you don't need or want to see them anymore, you just slaughter them, right? I suggested, as I told you before, to advise your president to take an international border for what it is, if its management causes problems to a country, that one can take measure to correct it. It is a country international right to protect its border. Therefore, don't give me the bullshit that we are invading you. Once again, if your government wasn't looking hypocritly the other way, I am pretty sure, that problem would have been solved.
What you'll always refuse to admit is that this peaceful invasion is tolerated by your political and industrial elite, but you can't unload on them, thus you are unloading on us. In Haiti, we are not that coward, we reserve ourselves the right to insult anyone who put him/herself in hot water.
Tell your president to be serious about enforcing the border and then come back here to talk to me.

You can not compare the Berlin wall with the Dominican Wall. Germany was one people country with same race, same language, same culture, and self religion.

Dominicans and Haitians are a world apart. Different culture and most important different language and religion.

oupaloa, who is slaughtering who? It's obvious the Haitians are the one with the upper hand on that, just because these Dominicans were defending what were their and their properties from thieves they get killed.

The pathetic thing about the whole haitian problem is that recently the same morons, cock......S of Canada, US, France and even Spain try to push the nationality issue to a Dominican commission that meet the ONU (human rights arm) in Switzerland but thank to God, Trujillo, Balaguer and Duarte that we had Pelegrin Castillo and he push away the stupid request.

The Dominican commission outlined that nationality is gain according to what is specified in our constitution and is not open to discussion or to any open judgement; the stupid imperialistic powers are so stuck up in their agendas that for instance France (sissies) and Spain (stinky)
are very strict to provide citizenship but yet want to play out that Dominicans are stupid.

Anytime a murder is committed no matter who commits it, Law Enforcement should step in to do its job and solve the murder case. It is not up to private citizens to take matters in their own hands. We cannot promote barbarism. Whoever commits murder should be brought to justice. Period. Imagine an undocumented Dominican in Washington Heights, New York City kill an American citizen! Should a mob of American citizens chase all Dominicans they can put their hands on and lynch them? Think about this analogy! Then, you all will understand why it is important that Dominican citizens let people who are paid to enforce the law do their job. When Dominican criminals killed a Haitian immigrant worker in the DR, we ask that the Dominican government find the criminals and bring them to justice. We don't call on Haitians to start killing Dominicans too. That would be barbarism. We have to avoid this kind of thing strictly in a civilized society.

I dont condone mudering them which is what they deserve--maybe they will stop if a few of them are killed as well. they should round up all the Haitians and deport them back to Haiti !!!!! They have no right to ccommit crime in a foreign country where they are better off than in their country

The domonican goverment should make it a priority to secure the borders more and build a very tall wall with electrically charged barbed wire, and have security 24 hours.

3 DOMINICANS KILLED WITHIN 7 DAYS! That is quite a large number to be killed by Haitians hands!
Can you imagine if the victims were Haitians??

Deporting them will not do any thing for the border is open; it's a revolving door situation.

The ONLY THING that could help us is building the wall. Then the problem could be put to rest.

BTW Dominicans in New York don't killed Americans, that is not our way. That is hardly heard of, for we do not commit hate crimes.

We will catch you and do much better than you for only one reason: our economic elite is much more wealthier than yours. Therefore, they can invest their own money with some kind of foreign or domestic partnership, while yours must rely heavily and almost totally on foreign entrepreneurship.

And as I said lately, when you see a President hitting the International trail as often as your Fernandez does, it means only one thing: going to beg for money, because the government safe is empty.

Our country actually, doesn't owe as much as yours, and we have already made the painful adjustment the World Bank and IMF have bistowed on us. Now, we're seeing the dividend with a vigorous economic growth, while from your side, it is economic contraction, sporadic black outs, which mean only one thing: there is not enough money in order to fire those electric plants. It's no wonder then, that your poor country is being acquired for peanut by foreigners. What are you going to invoke, your Constitution? You must just remember that you told me that you believe blindly in any kind of private property. Therefore, when it says private it means only the owner can allow someone in or out. So are the water of your rivers, your lakes, and your underground reservoirs of fresh water. All that will be privatized and you’ll have to pay to use them. What about your most beautiful lagoons? Are you sure one day you'll be able to go and swim in all of them when you want, and without paying a fee?
No my friend, see it as it is, your whole country is up for grab by foreign investment And if it will be a free for all like it is now in Haiti, you are in more dire condition than us. In fact, we are a virgin market with not heavy debt burden, and you know that investors love Bulls economies and not Bear ones. So we'll make sure that the people are not deprived of their part of the bonanza. For now you can enjoy your free fall to Hell.

Your economy has expanded on debt and now paying those huge sums, while corruption keeps your government from collecting enough money to keep up with even the service of the debt.
Keep fooling yourself, I just wish you good luck.

Oupala, you win ,DR is on its way down and Haiti will take its place as the greatest nation on the earth!!

Just please take your savage compatriots to Haiti Maudite ,that gift to humanity ....I mean without Haiti where would the world be??

It was all the Haitian inventions that started the industrial revolution and the great Haitian philosophers that laid the foundation for western civilization and of course without the handful of Haitians sent by their French masters the US would not exist and poor Simon Bolivar could not have made it without that powerhouse of the world Haiti.....

MR. Delusion you need to take your meds quickly because you are going over the edge, you suffer from the piti Napoleon complex which can only cured by extensive electroshock treatment.
Since according to this Haitian brain surgeon who somehow knows more than every economic assessment and the clearly obvious assessment that Haiti is a pile of crap full of borderline savages .

Please tell your savage brethren to leave DR or we will ship them COD to the border and seal it only to watch Haiti explode like a big ball of pus .

Finally Oupala ,worry about your latrine and leave DR to us ...you seem obsessed spending all your time in a site made for what you say is a failing nation while you are blind to the reality of pitilandia which is only barely standing because of the worldwide welfare checks coming in ,otherwise Haitians would have dropped like flies fertilizing the land they have destroyed .

When the truth is thown right at your face, you play it down, that might give you a false of reprieve, but the fact remains that you don't have much to cheer about with the actual state of your country economy. In a near future, I bet your stinkiing mouth will tremble before thinking about vomiting your stomack on us. An ungrateful bigot will always stay one. We are supporting your country economy and all you find to vomit is your frustration when you notice that even in our poverty you cannot dominate us the way you would have wanted it. That proves only one thing and it is that we are superior to you. In fact, if it was us Haitians with such a length in our development advancement, we'd have already own you. It proves that your elite is pea soup brain one who always need foreign brain and money to function and do thing.

ungrateful??

You mean like all the Haitians who are not dying in droves because of other nations (including DR) and because of whom Haitians are not extinct?

Haitians are the most ungrateful animalistic nationality on the face of the earth and their incompetence is only exceeded by their idiotic haughtiness and their ingratitude .

They are the proverbial dog that bites the hands that feed them and then complains that nobody wants to help them.

It was probably the ancestors of the Haitians who used to live in the Sahara rain forest!!

Just by being in a Dominican site all the time they show that theirs is more an envy based on their idiotic fantasies and every success in DR hurts them to the core for if they really did not care they wouldn't be infesting Dominican sites trying to defend the indefensible and preaching in their underwear's .

DR might have many problems just like any poor nation ,but we are trying to improve and are slowly making headway while close to 2 million Haitians stampede into this nation yet somehow this idiot and the rest of his nationals view Haiti with optimism......he must be smoking some really good stuff.

Instead of writing crap in a Dominican forum they should be going to Haiti to help their people since these semi-educated beasts are the "elite" (they can read and write) ,perhaps they can help their more savage brethren to become more human like.

Congratulations, Pepe32! You have just exposed your inhumanity and barbarism for the world to see.

Funny how the truth is barbarism and inhumanity...

Barbarism is what Haitians do to other Haitians and to the ecosystem

Inhumanity is going around talking about greatness while your people are starving ,have no self rule and have to sell themselves just to eat.

Inhumanity is using Haitian children (Restaviks) as virtual slaves and the animals that do this are Haitians

Inhumanity is bringing your fast food overfed mouth to write crap in a forum while your countrymen eat dirt.

So sir I may be what you say ,but in front of the Haitians I would shine for I do not waste my time in Haitian forums like your compatriots do here when my countrymen were being sold as virtual slaves and my people had to eat dirt but none of you really care about the real Haitians ,you just love the Haitians of your fantasies because Haitians don't like reality since it destroys all their myths.

So continue on you fantastic voyage and let the rest of the world do what Haitians couldn't do!

If a moron hatemonger like would have stepped into a Haitian forum with the kind of language of yours, he would have received an ass whip.
You must have the gut to engage the enemy when it presents himself at your door. Therefore, be a man and stand in front of the reaction provoked by your own bigotry.

Poor Oupala, you are so deranged that you don't even know that you are in cyberspace ...but since you live in a fantasy world with Haiti you actually think that someone can whip someone over the internet,

You are a deranged man,I have no interest whatsoever to enter a Haitian site because I actually don't care what Haitians think .You on the other hand live and breathe by what we Dominicans say to the point that you spend all your time in Dominican forums....what a pitiful life you have monsieur piti .

I know Haitians are very "brave" behind a monitor or attacking from behind but in reality you are a bunch of cowards waiting for someone to turn their backs so you can attack.Go back to your hell hole and leave us alone ,you are neither needed nor wanted here.

I thought you were educated enough to understand the rules of stylistic, however thanks a lot! You've just helped me discover that I was debating a C minus. I suggest to you to go recycle yourself before you try to engage educated and informed people. I can understand now why you're so vitriolic: you must hide you incompetence ai saying something valuable with bigotry and vitriol. Well! Have fun with yourself pea soup brain.

"understand the rules of stylistic"

Please write in English piti, maybe you are thinking in gibberish (creyol) and trying to write in English.

I am not debating with you ,I am putting you in your place and hopefully you will realize that you have nothing to do in this forum .

I am not full of "vitriolic" ...the word is vitriol

When I encounter an educated Haitian I will try and "recycle myself" (WTF) but to this date I have not encountered such a rare beast (I hear they exist like the spotted owl).

As far as bigotry ,you cry like a woman whenever the bare truth about pitilandia is brought out but do not hesitate to crap over my country in a Dominican forum....but in your sick mind bigotry can only be against the eternal victims with the proverbial race card .
You have denigrated Dominican women,Dominican men,Dominican history, our current state and many more but a response to your venom is bigotry.

You are a coward hiding under the skirt of political correctness and are unable to respond when your fantasies of Haitian greatness and achievement are put under a microscope and proven to be either completely false or greatly exaggerated.

Like all pitis you speak of education yet you can't even write properly, you are a legend in your own mind ,but like I said before I don't care about the opinions of any piti and if you disappeared today you would not be missed .

I must say that do help to show my compatriots the true colours of the pitis in our country and as such you are an educational tool.

You and those like you will open the eyes of my compatriots as to what Haitians are taught and what BS you believe in your sick delusions.

To @danny00

You are dumb as hell man. We have a dominican problem, and even when not all Haitians are bad, it sure seems like it. At least, that's all we get, and if our countrymen are dying because of Haitians in OUR country, then we have every single right in the effing world to kick their sorry asses out of our country. We have enough problems as it is to be putting up with one more shit. I live in the US too, and as far as I know, crimes in the US due to Dominicans are far less than what you say, and are faar less than those committed by Haitians in the DR. If you know of other crimes, is because you sure are in the middle of it. So stop being dumb and stop ignoring the political issue we have in the DR with the Haitians. Because just as much as the US hates on illegal Mexicans for being illegal and everybody gives the US gov. the right to do that because it's their country, we Dominicans have the same right in our land. So go read a couple of books on politics and current issue
