Sobeida Felix.

Zoom Picture

SANTO DOMINGO.- Sex, blood, drugs, riches and a barrage of conspiracies are the initial results uncovered so far by the investigation into the fugitive Jose David Figueroa Agosto’s drug trafficking operations in the Dominican Republic, since his escape from a federal prison in Puerto Rico, where he was serving a sentence  209 year sentence.

What most concerns the United States and local authorities are the indications that his ring still continues to traffic drugs from the Dominican territory.

Top level investigators have found that in the chase of Figueroa, which began in the downtown avenue Alma Mater, near the apartment where he and the also fugitive Sobeida Felix Morel lived, even a United States Marshall took part.

The U.S. embassy hasn’t officially revealed that version and much less that one of their agents was present in the shootout prior to Figueroa’s “fantastic escape.”

The money seized on September 9 in the parking lot of the condo tower Progressio seems to be the key to what in fact occurred that day and Figueroa’s and later Felix’s disappearances.

Linked cases

The investigation has also linked the murder case of Cesarina Vienesa Capellan (Bianca la Gorda), the 293 kilos of cocaine found September 16, the presence of one of the heads of the Cali Cartel, Luis Alberto Santacruz Echeverri in the country and numerous airdrops of drugs from South America.

In the case of the 293 kilos of drugs found in Villa Mella and Arroyo Hondo (linked to Figueroa) an arsenal of guns was found in a pickup truck four days later, including one whose barrel was matched to the bullets which killed Bianca la Gorda.

Tense relations

The relations between the National District Office of the Prosecutor and the National Police have turned tense from charges and countercharges on the alleged pilfering of some of the money seized in the cases of Felix and the Solano money exchange business.

Well, I have been waiting for years of a classic case such as this one to demonstrate to the world, just how broken and corrupt the entire RD system is. Now that time has finally come (since no one got a clue from Capt Paulino). Maybe now God is ready to pull the covers back and turn the lights .... so that maybe, just maybe the US judicial system and the many powers that be (i.e. US DEA) will get a clue when dealing with the RD Gov system of corruption.

QUESTION: Just who skimmed some of the money from the discoveries noted above? Was it the police or the DA's office?

ANSWER: THEY BOTH DID! AND NOW THEY ARE EACH ARE FEELING SHORTED BECAUSE THE OTHER DEPART MAY HAVE GOTTEN MORE. AND OF COURSE, THEY ARE EACH OFFENDED AT THE ACCUSATIONS THAT EITHER TOOK MONEY FROM THE STASH DISCOVER.

It is all "INCREDIBLE" which is why we need "real" leadership and tough love from our Ambassodor to the DR and to the other drug nations. No time for "THE OFFICE" style of politics.

What a f***** up country Dominican Republic is, was and ever will be.........

So now there is tension between the government and the national police, wow.......who's in charge in that f****** place???? Leonel surely isn't, it's a Wild West town down there. Leonel only cares about lining his pockets as much as he can until he leaves office, to live in the lap of luxury for the rest of his life.

And the rich get richer, and the poor get poorer. Poor, poor people.
