The triple-hull craft is equipped to create training links between the Dominican Republic and other nations in the region, to bolser regional stability and security, said captain Christopher K. Barns in a press conference.
The boat left Norfolk, Virginia on November to conduct a 5-month mission across Central America and the Caribbean, including a donation by the international aid organization "Faith and Joy” of 100 filters to provide drinking water in public hospitals and schools, delivered by the SWIFT crew.

Our external debt is unplayable and since we can’t pay it and we owe this money to the United States they can do with our country whatever they like. I agree, we do take loans from the U.S and world bank, but at what cost?
