Santo Domingo.- 56.3 percent of the poorer Dominicans say president Leonel Fernandez is doing a good job, according to a survey in those homes, published by newspaper Diario Libre.
40.2 percent said Fernandez’s work is good; 10 percent consider it excellent and 6.1 percent as very good, whereas 25.4 percent said it’s bad and 18.3 percent as very bad.
Fernandez maintains the popularity levels in those classes which gave him an easy victory in the last election.
Among the social problems unemployment occupies first according to those population segments, followed closely by citizen insecurity and inflation.
They said their five main problems are unemployment, 30.2 percent; insecurity, 29.6 percent; inflation, 29.3 percent; the high food prices, 28.9 percent and housing, 26.7 percent.

Of course he does, he has kept them so illiterate I am sure they did not know what they were voting for.
