To put things in perspective the US has a force of over 1.4 million soldiers
and there are approximately 300 general officers in the Army. There are, however, only 11 Generals, often referred to as "four-star generals". The remainder are Lieutentant Generals (3 stars), Major Generals (2 stars) or Brigadier Generals (1 star).

Do you have the breakdown of how many major generals and brigadier generals in the USA?
In the DR armed forces the top rank is Lt.General or 3 stars and his only held by one in a transitory
basis by the Chief of all the branches. So most generals are major generals and one star.

I had said before the there is got to be a way of reducing the military by retiring many officers and non officers and reduce the recruiting and train those adequately and we will have a more efficient military.

It's incredible, an air force with less than a dozen (now) fixed wing aircraft needs more than 15 Generals, a navy with no ocean going capability, and no vessel larger than 100 feet in lenght needs more than a dozen Admirals ! if you told this to other people, they would call you a liar ! (but then again, Boliva has a navy, with an Admiral and...NO COAST !)

Thank you, you are too kind. In the last link they only offered a percentage that was hard to calculate
such as 0.3 for major generals and 0.4 for brigadier generals out of 1,351,000 men. So it will come out to 415 major generals and 540 brigadier generals. That is 955 total for a force of 1,351,000
men the ratio is 1414 men per general, with the same rank equivalent to the DR army.
So in the DR by these calculations, and adding the generals in the police which are counted in that total military forces we should have a total of 38 generals total not 300 some.
So in DR we have 10 times more major generals and brigadier generals than the US military in comparison.

He can replace all the military officers he wants, nothing will change.
Greed is supreme, when you see all these foreigners in DR living the good life and your getting paid peanuts what do you think is going to happen?
It doesn’t matter how many officers he replaces, Leonel him self is corrupt. He can not lead by example.
There is too much money in drugs no one wants to let it go and you know what you call that? Materialism, Capitalism
I don’t care how many times he replaces the military officers, where there is a will there is a way, supply and demand.
That’s what you have to think about, you think those generals are going to let all those millions slip through there hands.
Stop being a fool….
