Santo Domingo. - Flights from cities of New Jersey and New York to Dominican Republic have been momentarily suspended as a snow storm lashes that part of the U.S.; whereas others post delays of more than two hours.
The carriers Continental, American and JetBlue suspended flights in the airports Newark and John F. Kennedy, keeping many passengers from traveling to and from Dominican Republic and United States.
The Las Americas terminal operations department said American and Continental flights 1529 and 743 were cancelled, stranding hundreds of passengers in Domingo.
The American Airlines flight was scheduled to arrive at 2:30 p.m. and depart at 3:55, whereas Continental’s was expected at 12:10 p.m. and depart at 1:32 p.m. Monday.
Dominican airports management company Aerodom said JetBlue’s flights weren’t suspended, but had delays of up to two hours and expect they’ll arrive behind schedule.

You can keep the winter, plus now everyone in USA really nervous about economy.
Much seems better here because the expectation has never been hope filled. In the USA many people made money the last 7 years and now suffer because they had it to good and their hopes are dashed.
Imagine more hope in DR now than USA?
my parents have more time for me, they don't have to work like dogs, and i can study without worrying about mean and annoying bully's! :D
