SANTO DOMINGO. - A Dominican man was extradited Wednesday to the United States wanted on charges o f drug trafficking and homicide in New York and Philadelphia courts, said the Drugs Control Agency (DNCD) today.
Ramon Antonio del Orbe, also known as Ramon Orlando, Luis Carrasquillo, Darío Calderón, Emilio Calderón Garcia, Ramon Emilio Morales Santos and John Minalla, had been held in the Najayo jail since August, was extradited by means of Executive Branch decree 41-09.
Del Orbe was taken out of the country aboard American Airlines flight 680 to Miami, en route to Philadelphia, the DNCD said.
