According to Radio-Canada reporter Éric Plouffe, Quebec Police have reported the arrest of two Hell’s Angels in Dominican Republic so far

SANTO DOMINGO.-  The Quebec authorities, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) and several other police departments including Dominican Republic’s were conducting a major operation targeting the Hell's Angels biker gang Wednesday, in one of the most significant sweeps of the gang's alleged criminal activities in Canadian history, newspaper Ottawa Citizen reports.

The president of the country’s Drugs Control Agency (DNCD) said Steve Rainville and Marc Readman were arrested in simultaneous raids in the tourist town Cabarete, where they both lived as ordinary foreigners.

Gilberto Delgado said both foreigners will be repatriated to Canada in the next few hours, where they’ll face charges of  conspiracy to commit murders, believed to be as  many as 22, and of trafficking controlled substances, especially cocaine and heroin.

Two 9 millimeter pistols and two 12 gauge shotguns were seized from the bikers, the official said.

“Police planned to arrest 156 people in Quebec, New Brunswick, the Dominican Republic and France. These include 111 full-patch members, or nearly all currently active members of the Hell's Angels in Quebec,” is said.

It said the people arrested, who include at least one woman, are expected to be arraigned Wednesday in various locations in Quebec, on charges including murder, conspiracy to commit murder, drug trafficking and gangsterism, quoting SQ Insp. Michel Martin.

In Dominican Republic, the Hell's Angels have based their criminal operationas in the north coast towns Puerto Plata, Sosua and Cabarete, where they’ve teemed up with the local bike gang Barracos.

what do you consider an investor, agibus? a guy who buys a home to live in is a consumer, not an investor. and some guy who flips homes is more of a parasite than anything else, since very little benefit accrues to the general society; it just serves to inflate prices and drives the local populace out of the market.

Let's call them 'Heck's Angel's' the real Angels wouldn't be so stupid to get caught.

Of course . Not only do the Haitians give whats left of the police force some one to shake down for a few extra bucks so they can continue hustling tourists , but they will give the hells angels plenty of good scapegoats to use when the police try to make thier peter pan drug busts .... .... lol.

Wow the Haitians are truly unlucky : even in that topic the hates towards the haitians are sparkling.

I didn't see where in the topic ,the writer mentionned haitians : Now Hell Angels+Dominicans= Haitians , God Bless the Haitians .

Enough should be Enough people after all the Haitians were always good to the Dominicans at least that is what History shows.

Wait there will be more bad news coming up on Dominican Republic poeple very soon

These guys with "size matters" issues need big bikes to prove they are "men" and the noise they make when they open the throttle is there to prove how "big" and "tough" these gangsters are. Great to know at least two less bikes to polute the peace and quiet!

A person who flips homes is a parasite? Man can you say anything that is more stupid than that?

People with no ties to this country and who consistanly make comments on everything and are experts on everything are the biggest parasites and waste of space on this board. I have never seen or heard of one credetial you have ever had yet you are an expert on EVERYTHING.

Your audacity and balls are truly amazing.

A person who flips burgers might be working at Mcdonalds or riding his Harley down pedro clisante ! I have to admit how comical it is to read the comments made by people who take thier first ever 3 day venture out of the north pole , stay at a cheap all inclusive hotel in and think thier ready for thier own spot on the travel channel when they get home .lol. my zamboni needs fixin eeeh !

of real estate escalates, because of speculative buyers. it does not bother you, because you have money, anyway. you could not care less if a house which sold for 50,000 dollars 5 years ago, is now 100,000, and locals are removed from the market. with your low opinion of Dominicans, maybe they should go live in trees, anyway. i see your manners remain vestigial, and your intellect is still imaginary. you should use some of your profits from your next condo sale to go to finishing school. you cannot buy class and style, but you might learn how to hold your knife and fork..Dismissed!

Escot,
Maybee DR needs outside people looking in... But we are not outside people looking in, we are Dominicans that live outside DR. We know what goes on out there and we just want whats best for DR. Do not try to pass your self off as an expert.

(how out of touch with reality. Most DR people own their homes, no mortgage. And it was a DR guy that sold his own house for $100K and walked away happy!)

I had mentioned the existence of this group in DR a few months ago when another article was published about gangs and drugs. Surprising the DR allowed them to build a bunker there (yet, they DID have 3 official places here - they were seized today along with 5 million $ in cash and other things). I think they have arrested 3 in DR... so far! 4 are in Mexico and a few in France. A few apparently have houses in DR for the last 20-25 years. They probably thought no "entente" would be possible to go and get them.

I visited Cabarete in March and I loved it, in fact I'll be back in July. I truly felt "free" there. Saw a few Hells Angels, seemed like they kept a low profile and didn't bother anybody. Of all the places I have ever visited ,and I've visited alot, Cabarete ranks in the top three. I really liked the Dominican people, but watch out for the Haitians, they're the ones who'll try to get over on you.
