Mumbai.– Alterna' TV has added Telemicro Internacional, Ecuavisa Internacional and AYM Sports in Chicago, as part of Comcast's newly expanded Spanish-language programming tier. The three 24/7 channels join other Comcast's Chicago offerings - CBTV, Mexico 22 and Once Mexico.

Telemicro Internacional offers an extensive array of programming for all audiences across the US. The channel carries news, comedy, sports, general entertainment and shares all of its culture and the characteristic taste and personality of Dominicans.

Ecuavisa Internacional is the international counterpart of Ecuador's television network. Hosted by the Ecuadorian community living in the US, the channel covers news, entertainment, soccer, telenovelas, tourism, comedy and more. AYM Sports provides 24/7 coverage of all the sports action happening in Mexico. such as the 2nd division of soccer, Mexican wrestling, rodeo shows and college sports to off-road auto racing and Mexican baseball.

According to Alterna' TV GM Leonardo Alvarado, by launching this new programming tier, Comcast is making a positive move for the Hispanic community. "They are recognizing how important the Hispanic consumer is and are giving them the attention they deserve."

Comcast started to offer television Dominicana in Chicago after many users started switching to the dish in order to view those channels. The must be adding more Dominican channels in order to try to get the lost customers back.
