Santo Domingo.– The Emergency Operations Committee (COE) started distributing supplies and the personnel involved in the Holy Week operation in swimming pools and on beaches.

According to COE director, General Juan Manuel Mendez, the program is ready and "we just hope that the people remain sensible and prudent, including those traveling and those that are staying home."

Each one of the government institutions and security and law enforcement entities that make up the National Emergency Commission, reported that everything is ready for the start of the plan that is aimed at reducing the death toll that last year reached 31 persons over the Easter Week holidays.
