SANTO DOMINGO. - The Drugs Control Agency (DNCD) Tuesday dawn foiled an airdrop of cocaine in a sugar cane field La Romana (east) during a land operation of the newly created Interagency Task Force (DEPROCER) antinarcotics unit.

DNCD president Gilberto Delgado said a helicopter which provided air support to its agents kept the unidentified aircraft from dropping its load over the Nigua sugarcane field, where a high-speed chase ensued after the vehicles awaiting the drugs on land.

In a statement, the official said radars detected an illegal blip in unspecified coordinates during the night. “Support personnel were immediately mobilized by air and land to prevent the drug drop and the small plane’s pilot was forced to flee.”

DNCD spokesman Roberto Lebrón said the used helicopter pursue the vehicles which entered La Romana near the 2 a.m. Tuesday surprised the population. “That’s why some of the official vehicles entered the city at high speed, but in fact the authorities managed to seize one vehicle abandoned by its occupants.”

This was probably staged ..... just to show that the new (really whats new?), was working or something. If your just looking at blips on the radar, and not actually catching the blip on the radar, than you should just show up to work everyday and kill mosquitos in the office, and the mosquitos most likely get away also.

The guy has made some dumb comments here, it's true (he can understand a woman going into prostitution for the extra money, it's OK to drive in the city using your bright lights all the time, Hummers are sensible cars, to name a few). But to insult him by inferring that his IQ is around 50 is downright out of line.

Wow. An unidentified and unauthorized plane in the skies. Yet it is able to disapear. Had they cought the supposed people on the ground, what would they be charged with.

I know I am not a General. However, it seems to me that if they waited a bit longer, giving them chance to mobilize more agents on the ground. They would've at least been able to confiscate the supposed drugs. The ones the now imagine were on that plane.

How many Generals does our beloved country have anyway?

No need to worry. The generals can rest easy. It won't be long before the invaders are here in full force with the contract commandos to occupy and police the drug movements. Just look at Colombia. Such a grand success. The bright side, La R.D. can receive over half a Billion $$$USP$$$ each and every year to shut-up and swallow what will be dished out to them in the new occupied territory.

Christopher, hummer is spelled Chupa Chupa Chupa in Espanol
As far as Dominicans never fighting your wars, that's because of intelligence. Albeit you didn't know your government is selling US Citizenship did you. That's right. It is now for sale! The USG is so hard up now for lack of their own sufficient military staffing they are currently actively recruiting and offering foreign persons willing to enlist, US Citizenship. Until now, that foreign person had to die first before being granted US Citizenship (then their surviving family members can come to the US). A high price to pay, heah.
Dominicans (and everyone else, including Americans) are in US prisons because EVERYTHING has been criminalized there.
The price tag for hospitalization is being spread because nobody has health insurance anymore in the US (not because Dominicans are in there).
IF Dominicans are there illegally its because the USG denied them rightful visas in the first place.

To send them back on a boat would be fruitless because they are being replaced with twice as many Cubans passing in the opposite direction heading for US Soil all in an effort to collect the $10,000USD reward "CASH PAYMENT" after being processed at Krome detention center in Miami for being refugee status. Such an ongoing high price for the US taxpayer to pay in an effort to overthrow the cuban government. Albeit you didn't know that either did you? Not many do, cause they are too lazy and/or too stupid to research how they are being ripped off from the USG as a taxpayer. If it wasn't for that, perhaps there would be money to subsidize your hospitals for americans only so they themselves do not have to be turned away. How many taxpayers does it cost to purchase a Cuban refugee arrival? You tell me Sir. Your anger would be better directed at Capitol hill. Oh, I forgot, the lawmakers dont give a sh*t about you, the american taxpayer. Perhaps, you too, should no longer care.

adaniels. I do. Unfortunately, the USG thinks they have a lifetime stake in persons born there and won't let their bite (kinda like slave ownership back in the day). It's like telling your spouse your going to get a divorce and the spouse says No and makes your life a living hell until the day you depart this world and stalks you everywhere you go. You will be married til eternity despite your pleas to the contrary. Regardless, I do speak the truth with factual information. Persons can then formulate their own opinion based upon fact.
