I don't think you really understand my point. I have never said that she was not Dominican : how the Hell she would have been bistowed such high honor in such a country where the Haitian name is belittled and despised? My point my friend is to make the Hateros understand that this question of descending from the Tainos is ridiculous and that the same way we Haitians are proud of our African, French and Spanish roots, they must be proud of theirs whatever they were from either community. The best exemple back home is the Vorbe Family. They are a white family who got mixed with our negroes. They are one of the proudest family in our country and they never turned their back neither renegated us, while other did.

Whatever we the Haitians or the Dominicans do, we will keep breeding among each others and interace breeding will always take place and you will always end up with lighter skin among darker ones. However, it is the bond of nationhood that must break the barriers between race and color like it did in china and japan.
