Miami.– Sailors and Marines from the United States, the Dominican Republic and 10 other countries have
stormed north Florida beaches, learned to board ships or repel
boarders, learned to find submarines and hide from them as training
continues off the Atlantic coast.
Militaries from Argentina, Brazil,
Canada, Chile, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Germany, Mexico,
Peru, Uruguay and the United States are participating in the two-week
exercise designed to teach the countries' navies to work together.
More than 25 ships, four submarines, 50
aircraft, 650 Marines and 6,500 sailors are involved in the exercises
near Mayport Naval Station the 50th anniversary of UNITAS.

Fact: we all benefit from world trade
Fact: there is a big risk to world trade which will drive up security & overall costs of products (imports/exports).
Fact: pirates are huge add-on costs (ransons > $1,000,000)
FACT: prez obama is smart & does not want the us gov & navy to pay for security alone especially since the problem effects us all
Conclusion: obama has put together a globally navy coalition to hedge against our united concerns at sea (starting with but not limited to pirates - not necessarily pirates of the carribean - for you guys that still do not get it!)
