Santo Domingo.– The Title VI of the Armed Forces, the National Police and Security and Defense was approved on the first reading by the Revisory Assembly which placed a prohibition on the return of military and police officers to their respective institutions.

According to press reports, the only exceptions are those cases in which the retirement has been in violation of the respective organic laws, after the investigation and recommendation from the corresponding ministry.

Now the Constitution also includes the prohibition of gender discrimination or any other type of discrimination regarding entry, designation or development of the police career or the retirement program for members of the Armed Forces and the National Police.

So now we must allow homosexuals, asexuals, transexuals, mentally disabled or ill, or people with questionable loyalties into the forces weaking the institution even more. The current force is filled with corrupt officers and abusers AND WE ARE GOING TO PUT in PEOPLE WITH VALUES AND PHYSICAL DISABILITIES THAT CAN FURTHER DETERIORATE THE FORCES as well as their performance?

Yes aG, let's stick with the macho good-for-nothings we have got now. I am sure you cannot imagine a disabled person, a woman, a homosexual or (God forbid) a person of Haitian descent actually having a brain and making a difference...

Very good point...Corruption comes in all shapes, color and forms. That's what you get when they have no Morals, Values and Proper up bring to begin with.

we do not have to agree on any point as far as I am concerned and if you are not familiar with the concept of sarcasm so be it; but the mere fact that anyone who is not an able bodied heterosexual male are by some still considered as inferior to me is a bit archaic.
