SANTO DOMINGO.- The Drugs Control Agency (DNCD) reported the arrest last night of Odilio de Jesús Pimentel, 40, a deportee of the United States, and alleged head of a international narcotics trafficking network which sent `mules’ to Europe, especially Spain, with their stomachs full of cocaine, or taped to their bodies and in their luggage.
The DNCD said the suspect had recently tried to send the Spaniards Gumersindo Diez and Carmen Leon to Madrid with approximately seven kilos of cocaine in their suitcases, from Las Americas International Airport (AILA).
It said also part of the organization run by Pimentel, of Baní, are Carlos Manuel Ozuna and Ceily Carolina Guzmán Abreu, detained together with the foreigners for having taken them to the terminal to board Air Europe flight UX-88 on July 15.
The DNCD said it arrested Pimentel in the capital’s Anacaona and Luperón avenues intersection driving a gray Honda Accord.
Meanwhile Dominican authorities also extradited Rudi Rafael González Taveras to the United States where he’ll face heroin and cocaine trafficking charges in a New York court.
Drugs Control Agency (DNCD) spokesman Roberto Lebrón said Gonzalez also had documents with the name Tommy Lorenzo Disla Abreu, and was flown out of the country aboard American Airlines flight 385.

One down, and a 1,000 or more to be caught in DR. Like I have said before, this deportation (US to DR) scam is going to bring down DR, and it's young generation.
He'll be strolling down the street as soon as the bagamn makes the delivery
