Santiago.– A man stabbed his girlfriend and their
two children to death before hanging himself, police in the northern
Dominican province of Santiago said Friday.
According to police reports, Angel Rafael Reyes, 51, committed the triple murder inside a cabin in the Canabacoa district.
Authorities
said an argument developed after Raquel Saviñon Caba, 29, and the
couple’s two sons came to the cabin at Reyes’ invitation.
Reyes then killed the woman and children and hanged himself. Saviñon’s family told police that Reyes had earlier abandoned Raquel and the kids to become involved with a 13-year-old girl.

Hate to say it but I have to admit that El Capitan is correct. If you read the newspaper el Nacional the majority of the killings by male to the female mates you would notice an age gap of more than 12 years.
This sad incident continues to show that most men in DR are not well adjusted mentally to face manhood, aging and the great things in life: a bond with the family they create, and monogamy with their mate.
Men need to provide 3 things to be man Proclaim their fidelity to one woman, Providing for their family and Protecting their family as man should.

Another issue that we see again and again is women willing to entertain and become involved with men who could be their fathers or grandfathers and see it as acceptable behavior.
Men go as far as women let them...
Believe it, how can a 13 yr old become involved with a 51 yr old? Answer: lack of values in the home:from alcohol to drugs, to parents that are not in home doing their roles or simply don't care about the child.
Sadly here are the results: the only way out is to kill your family and yourself? When a man is able to provide the 3 P's (to the right woman who can be loyal and appreciative of what he is offering) there is no stopping this individual and life is worth living.
My condolences to the families involved, and the young girl who at 13 yrs of age is clueless and unable to enjoy the age of innocence.

The culture is what allows a 13 year old to WANT to bang a 51 year old. The 29 year old was with him because the father or two fathers of her children was a typical non responsible Dominican sperm bank. Go to Hotel Coloniel in Santiago any day of the week and see old bald fat guys from around the world with really young girls and they are not taken by force all they want is the $$$$$. Mama and brother along with sister say "go with him he has money" instead they should say go to school and respect yourself. But that would be a culture shock to most. The murdered wife met this man when she was a 13 year old girl from Mercedes, Bonao working domestically (instead of focusing on school) and they entered into a relationship when she was 15 (he was near 40; 37 exactly) but started living together when she was 18-19 where she was abused for years... His raged stemmed from the fact that he did NOT want to support his family via the court order $RD 3,000 pesos while separated even though he had a good security job at the Cibao Airport. So, instead he used deception to lure his wife for reconciliation; then murder her, the 3 month old and the 9 year old.
I only wanted to share some additional facts..

That was the BEST ADVICE I ever read.
The Liberal thinkers of the Day leaves me to suggest a few things...
1. One has no limits.
2. Go with the flow.
3. If it feels good do it.
4. What rules, make them as one goes along.
5. One should only answer to ones self.
And at a Young age PEER PRESSURE, FEAR of being an OUT CAST, go to extremes for acceptance even if it means self destruction of the mind, body and spirit.
Note: I work for a High School in Calif. and was shocked to find so many Students from Broken homes, Divorced Parents, Single Young aged Parents who could go as a big Brother or Sister.

Mrios you are passionate about the issues. As I mentioned earlier, it is best to keep the fanatics and their doctrines out of the classroom. I forgot to mention....At my school they are labeled "CLUBS" such as the "KEY CLUB", "VOLUNTEER CLUB" "BLACK AMERICAN CLUB" all controlled by the ASB there fore are held under all School rules and regulations approved by our School Board, voted in and controlled by the Students, all have Adult School Employees as Advisers, and in no way interfere with the Educational process. The Clubs meet before / after School, Morning break / Lunch time [there own time].
If they invite guest speakers they must submit it in writing 30 days prior to the event, approved by the Principal, and get ASB voted support. If you request more info. I'll be glad to answer.

The murdered wife met this man when she was a 13 year old girl from Mercedes, Bonao working domestically (instead of focusing on school) and they entered into a relationship when she was 15 (he was near 40; 37 exactly) but started living together when she was 18-19 where she was abused for years... His raged stemmed from the fact that he did NOT want to support his family via the court order $RD 3,000 pesos while separated even though he had a good security job at the Cibao Airport. So, instead he used deception to lure his wife for reconciliation; then murder her, the 3 month old and the 9 year old.

If you give money to women with questionable reputations and they shake you down for money then I understand your statement..you are being exploited but you are paying for services.

And to think it all started when ONE NON BELIEVER who threaten a Law suite and claimed to be offended and Protested with 100% supported by His parents, he was given a chance not to participate, but refused. Imagine that ONE ! a SILENT MOMENT was never a real issue before. On my campus years ago we had a Wicca Club with approx. 11 Students on Campus and no Disruptions were ever reported on Campus not ONE protest, ever.
