Santo Domingo. - The Drugs Control Agency (DNCD) Monday afternoon seized 6 crates carefully stacked with 407 squash with around 300 kilos of cocaine, packed in a rural community of the city La Vega, and headed to New York.

DNCD spokesman Roberto Lebrón said the drug would’ve been flown out of Las Americas International Airport, kept in a container parked in warehouse #7 of the freight area, where trained dogs detected to it.

The boxes were shipped by the company Exportadora CMP, located in the community La Cabuya, and consigned to the Rasing Sun Produce Corp., located on #673 Jerome St., Brooklyn, NY 11207.

Lebrón said the agency was tipped off about the drug in the container and that arrests in the case are imminent.

I would be more impressed if it was the dogs and not a tipoff ....it would demonstrate the effectiveness of at least the animals in the antidrug squads

Maybe the press release should have said that the DEA tipped off the Dominican DNCD and the dogs were brought to pinpoint it. The DR radio had said there was 800 kilos found. Somebody's scale is off a bit. LOL.
The street value of those drugs is immense and some kind of medical or research use should be found and not just burn and waste all those assets for the good of the country. Also I hope the perps are arrested from the top down, not only the little guys.

What about if those 300 kilos were a simple diversion in order to push and keep the DEA away from the real transaction location? I've read countless stories about how ingenious the Cartel can be when it comes to fool the Drug Enforcement Agency.
If you people really want to know about the inner story of the Medellin Cartel and its ramification with the United states Cuban Mafia, just download "Cocain Cowboys" with Limewire and enjoy the show.

By whatever means were taken this is good work. This amount and the information posted about the companies involved in the shipment represent good police work. Keep up the good work and lets hope there will be more shipments like this caught. If they can arrest the people involved also this would be a great case.

Vacanos the Troll forum's CLOWN

This is was the great one Dreadlock think of you(not much)
quote
the best a neanderthal like vacanos can offer is "Nothing" Vacanos never read anything more enlightening than the Sears Catalogue, but want to lock horns with guys who are in possession of serious knowledge on their subjects. he claim to have some associate diploma from some obscure on-line college nobody ever heard about, but spend copious hours berating guys with a PhD for a guy who pretrend to have a college degree, that is pretty weak. Vacanos has no foundation, and read nothing. Vacanos live by 24 hour news cycle snippets, without any understanding or background information. then he get offended when you upbraid him for wasting educational opportunities in the land of plenty.

A big catch, no matter how you spin it.

I call this positive. Let's do more of it and let's rid ourselves of this poison and everything bad associated with it.

It seems that Haiti is loosing it's number one status of coke transporter. Every week they're running things in the DR either by tourists, plane, boats. Man, if they had a dunkey they'll put it on it to get it there.
