NUEVA YORK.- Dominican president Leonel Fernandez will spend five days in New York city to speak twice before in the General Assembly of the United Nations, (UN), whose Rome-based Food and Agriculture Organization FAO selected Dominican first lady Margarita Cedeño one of its Ambassadors of Good Will.
In his addresses Fernandez will focus on the situation of the environment and on general topics of the economy, health and security.
The Head of State will arrive in New York on Monday and speak in the Hostos Community College, the Bronx, where he’ll meet with professors and students, and address the UN on Tuesday.
In Rome today, the FAO announced its new Ambassadors of Good Will, including Margarita Cedeño, the American athlete Carl Lewis, the French designer Pierre Cardin, the Colombian singer Fanny Lu and the Indonesian singer song writer Anggun.
The Dominican First Lady will receive the title "in recognition to the numerous social development projects she has conducted in her country in the scope of agriculture and nourishment," especially those whose beneficiaries are women.

Margarita Cedeño, our first lady, is a proud example of emancipated Dominican women, she also holds a law degree, and does intensive work to benefit the poor and disadvantaged.
Give credit to the ones that deserve it, and she does.

Don't even think about bringing any car over 5 years old, they are not allowed by customs. Some get exemptions for older cars, but they cost money and influence, plus mucho hassle.
