SANTO DOMINGO. – Justice minister Radhamés Jiménez revealed Tuesday that the 13 Assistant DAs who prosecute the accused of executing seven Colombians near the village Paya, Bani (south) are receiving death threats.
The official said given the atmosphere of "terrorism" which he said has reigned during the last hearings he asked the Supreme Court to the transfer the case, which implicates police agents and military officers, to the National District jurisdiction .
Jiménez, in a press conference with Armed Forces minister Pedro Rafael Peña, Police chief Rafael Guzmán, Ethics Commission director Marino Vinicio Castillo and the 13 Assistant DAs in charge of the prosecution, called the threats unacceptable and affirmed that the war on drugs is irrevocable.
Chaos was the scene during the last hearing in the case, when several defendants threatened the prosecutors and ridiculed the judges even calling them "Mr. President of the Republic."
They also warned the prosecutors “not to worry, you’ll get what’s coming to you."
Baní’s small courthouse led to the case’s transfer to San Cristóbal, but security reasons may now take it to the National District.

Round up all their friends and families and say for any prosecutor that dies ALL of you die.
Terrorists.
The DR has to show some pelotas or they will lose theirs
I couldn't imagine the number of wrongful deaths dealt out by the corrupt justice system.
Would somebody care to go to the ferretería to get some tape for the judge?
