Santo Domingo.– Orlando Jorge Mera, a candidate for the
secretary general post of the Dominican Revolutionary Party (PRD), said that he and Miguel
Vargas Maldonado will guarantee the triumph of the
organization in the 2012 elections.
While speaking at a meeting in the Mauricio Baez Club in the Villa Juana sector, Jorge Mera also guaranteed he will win at the XXVII Ordinary Convention and criticized supposed
corrupt activities carried out by individuals who are
against him and see him as a political adversary.
According to Tomas Hernandez Alberto,
president of the convention organizing commission, the process is ready all around the country.
