Santo Domingo. - Emulating the MO of Pablo Escobar’s Cali Cartel the Puerto Rican fugitive Jose Figueroa Agosto acquired at least one pair of the same cars or SUVs in different colors, a as well as houses and apartments in the same zone or building to secure his escape if needed.

The revelation comes in the wake of yet another murder of a member of the Drugs Control Agency, which it accuses a group of drug vendors who operate in a barrio of Villa Mella, in the ever widening case.

Figueroa had at his disposition more than eight paired SUVs, apartments in different floors (above or below each other) and more than one house in the neighborhood  of his main residences in which he spent the night, according to investigators.

The authorities detected his precaution from videos in which he appears entering a building, and a SUV of the same model, but of a different color than the one in which arrived, leaves the place but with an unknown destination.

Then, when the seizure of some vehicles considered his property took place, the investigators noticed the use of backup, the same MO used by the Colombian’s henchmen to protect him.

DNCD chief escort gunned down

Army sergeant major Dayri Felipe Diaz González, assigned to the escort the DNCD president Rolando Rosado, was shot several times in the Guarícanos sector, North Santo Domingo. A native of Neiba, Diaz was assigned to Rosado’s security just two months ago.

Drug Adviser calls for internal probe

The President’s Drug Adviser yesterday asked the investigation of a senior officer in the National Investigations Department (DNI), who had assigned the ex Army major Bienvenido Saviñón Aybar, who in turn had an assigned the official license plate used in the vehicle from where the ex colonel Jose Amado González was gunned down.

Marino Vinicio Castillo revealed that the DNCD and the Police pursue a Puerto Rican gunman who is reportedly at Figueroa’s service, identified as Jeffrey Torres, in connection with González’s murder, and a Dominican of last names Solano de los Santos, who had also escaped from a Puerto Rico jail and who was Figueroa’s driver.

There appear to be four different stories here the first is just information as to how the drug baron Figueroa conducted his security , the second is the gunning down of a sergeant major which may or may not be connected with the Figueroa case, The third is welcome news that the senior officer in the DNI who assigned disgraced ex major Saviñon to the Presidents offices will be investigated and the fourth piece of news is that the driver of Figueroa is a convict from Puerto Rico ..I doubt if he is waiting around for questions.
Not too sure if I like the saga coming out little by little or whether I would prefer to see a full report or at least an interim report

This is only the beginning....wait until there are 3-4 shot per day. It will not stop until the Colombians have full control using Dominican puppets for their front, and even then ANYONE stepping out of line will be eliminated.

Watch SCARFACE w/ Al Pacino, it's the future of la isla de monos.

p.s.~ The Colombians will take the Tocanos and use them to pull banners over the beach advertising Le Pela, Girls House and Rocky's Ribs

A summary often helps people concentrate on the story but obviously not in all cases.

Our corrupt officials will spin this story like a merry go round until something besides them comes out of it. Stop accepting bribes for letting these drug dealers conduct business in our country and maybe they wouldn't own your lives. Don't be stupid once your value to them is gone they will have to kill you and your families because you provide a link to them. I guess that doesn't matter for the few quick pesos you make along the way. In the end we either rid ourselves of these drug dealers or embrace to become the next Mexico.

I told you guys this was going to get worse, just wait till those extradition papers from the States come in, there is going to be a big internal war between our beloved law enforcement officials, Bodies are going to start dropping like flies, and a lot of disappearing acts as well. But the bottom line is Leonel should be held accountable for negligence and being incompetent.

Salsoul, honestly it doesn't matter who we vote in there, corruption is in our blood, sad to say but true, the pueblo voted for him to get the other incompetent ass out of office (Hipolito) but like the saying goes same difference.

what's the use of keeping on criticizing these fools if the same sh*t keeps happening? these clowns have been in power for decades the only thing that changes every 4 years is the president. As we all know the presidency is about as relevant as a 3 dollar bill. So instead why don't people just rise up and take these same clowns like Vincho out of office?

This is not getting worse, or either getting out of hand.

What we have here is a revelation of what was the underground current ion the island for awhile. We all know of corruption and of Paulino. But know we see that what is being uncovered is the nest of nests and how a Puerto Rican fugitive has been the biggest and most notorious drug lord in the history of the Dominican Republic. That the Bani case is somehow tied to Figueroa will be the next revelation.

this is not new, it's just that we have escavated and lifted the rock and has a look at the ants nests.

The country needs to keep digging and cut out all the cancer.
