LA ROMANA.- The Judicial District Instruction Judge issued another arrest warrant for the fugitive Ramon Antonio del Rosario Puente (Toño Leña), linked to the Puerto Rican fugitive Jose Figueroa Agosto and who allegedly hatched a plan to assassinate Drugs Control Agency (DNCD) president Rolando Rosado.

Judge Marcia Reyes hears the drug trafficking case against del Rosario, in which Elvis Radhamés Rodriguez Mateo and Felix Nolasco Tavarez have also been indicted.

The Justice Ministry requested the measure after the accused failed to appear in court despite being notified via several routes. Del Rosario recently called a popular radio program to ask guarantees prior to appearing for the preliminary hearing.

on a slightly different path,I was unaware until reading elsewhere that Quirinito and is murderous gang had been given a notice of freedom from prison by a judge in a lower court but that the chief judge of the Supreme Court is looking at the decision over the weekend and will then put the decision before the other judges so they can decide what is to be done with this gang .
I wonder if this is another case of the prosecution not bringing their evidence forwards as was the case earlier in the week .The chief justice made some interesting comments about the order for release from the junior judges relating to the rippling effect of such decisions and I wonder if these high profile cases are not better being dealt with by a more senior judge ..maybe not possible

The dominican government should really start exploring the option of using the military for the war on drugs, the miliraty should start a sweep of all the drug points in the country . if all this wild colombians wanna killed a dominican evey other day , there has to be a alternatived to this I Say we use are milliraty, are army tanks to blow up crack houses , and we must also use are new super tucanos for air strikes and blow up drug planes in the sky . we can also use this planes to execute bombings of houses where theres potential drug dealing
