SANTO DOMINGO.- Presidential Decree 35-10 created the Consultative Commission assigned to Executive Branch’s Legal Adviser, which will organize the proclamation of the new Constitution Tuesday afternoon.

The Commission will head the ceremony in Congress, where the lawmakwers will proclaim the nation’s new charter for a "State of Social and Democratic Law."

Jurists consider the new Constitution revolutionary and a total overhaul of Dominican legislation, affirming that its mandates approved by the National Assembly are in keeping with the new era.
