Luisito Marti's many alter egos.

Santo Domingo.- The actor, musician, humorist and television host Luisito Martí died last night in the CEDIMAT hospital, where he was admitted for complications from pancreatic cancer on December 24. He had just turned 65.

Martí, considered one of the country’s best comedians and a true "showman,” had a career which spanned from playing the congas to singing and to composing merengues.

It's a sad day for Dominican Entertainment. I remember as a child watching this talented genious sing and dance en el "Combo Show de Johnny Ventura". Later in his career he became a tremendous comedian. You will be missed Luisito, but you sure are going to make the angels laugh. RIP "Balbuena"!!!

When I used to live in the DR, I remember seeing him in a show he hosted that was called "De Remate" along with some other people.

I remember watching that movie nueva yol in a manhattan theater, the placed was packed with people, everybody enjoy the movie they laugh and had great time watching balbuena . rip luisito marti one of the greatest
