SPECIAL FOR DOMINICAN TODAY

Santo Domingo.- Hispaniola Ventures, LLC and its funding partner Marine Exploration, Inc. have resumed exploration activities in their contract area off of the north coast of the Dominican Republic. Having suspended operations during the hurricane season, their exploration/salvage vessel R/V Hispaniola is active once again.

During the first week of magnetometer surveys, three new shipwreck sites have been discovered and proofing excavations are being performed in order to determine dating periods and probable nationality.

While performing underwater metal detector anomaly identification dives, a coral encrusted pair of 18th Century flintlock pistols were discovered fused together, muzzle to grip and grip to muzzle, indicating how they were stored in their carrying case. The amazing discovery was made by Burt Webber’s son Kurt Webber. Partial cleaning of the brass butt plates have revealed the unique facial images of “The Good” ----  “The Evil”. Webber’s consultation with marine archaeologists and specialists in colonial period weaponry has suggested that this is the first matched set (brace) of pistols ever found on a sunken shipwreck site anywhere in the world.

It is recommended by conservators that the pistols be professionally cleaned and preserved, remaining fused together thus producing a unique museum display piece.

Well, we all knew you'd be coming out from under your rock doggie pound. As I recall, you had an all expense paid offer to come to Dominican Today Offices and have a scheduled direct confrontation with Webber but apparently you crawled back under your rock. Hispaniola made significant discoveries and recoveries in the past year, that even if jammed down your reptile throat you'd deny. By the way, have you taken a look lately as to where Deep Blues stock is lately. What a looser you are Doggie. Go back to the pound and get busy cleaning up your doo-doo.

So Tropicana, who would you choose, Deep Blue or Webber? Deep Blue has been diving all through the hurricane season, pulling up hundreds of 16th century coins and Meso-American artifacts and now they are concerned about winter storms hindering activities on the north shore. This PR says that now the hurricane season is over they will dive on the north shore? Who do we believe?

Wreckdiver: I know both groups. I also know Webber and Blum. They are both active. The difference is Webber finds wrecks. Deep Blue has yet to find one wreck on there own but pay Dominican fishermen to show them. They're the new kid on the block so they need to be given a chance. Long time ago but I recall when Webber does it big, the coins were in the tens of thousands. Not a couple of hundred.

Yo Tropi~nobody offered me any all expenses paid trip to the DR from DT, BW or MEXP....I'd be there stat, cuz I need an excuse to go down and pick-up coffee and rum.

Set it up and and I'll come down.

Maybe Webber will have my money from that crap less-than-a-penny stock of MEXPs I bought.....a 1 for 500 reverse split and all we see is a picture of a supposed "unique find" ...

Doggie: Still insisting to be recognized as the vicious Hedda Hopper and back yard gossip covering the treasure hunting scene in the D.R. Perhaps you and anyone else that pains themselves to even read your dog crap anymore should go to Dominican Today July 29th. Written by Tropicana, Att: Doggie, Aug. 2nd. You were challenged but went back under your rock. So doggie has-been, never-been, wanna be but never was, struggle on with your emotional problems. By the way, don't see you posting Deep Blue's stock price. Any problem with that. Signing off. Your a very real waste of time.

Anybody sticking up for Webber must be family because everybody knows Webber's time is up..Posting about thousands of coins is living deep in the past. Two pistols and now he is GOD what a jpke! Yeah and Webber dont pay fishermen for info. Thats why fishermen quit showing Webber wrecks. He promises to pay and then renigs on the deal. What a POS.

Waiting out hurricane season to dive the north shore in the winter months? Is anybody this stupid to believe that crap? Four more months at the bar and then its they waited out the northerns. Talk of a 500 to 1 split sent all investors packing. Believe me when i say Webber and family this time next year will be as much of history as thoses tens of thousands of coins. Tropi-webber-cana nice try. But your companies goose is cooked.

To Undertaker: I know the players down there. I know Webber, I know Bowden and also Rick Barry, (no longer there). I also know past members of the Sub-Arq. commission. In his career, Webber is credited with finding about 28 wrecks including the Concepcion, the Solo Dios Gloria and more recently the Begona which IU has as a field school. I don't yet know what these supposed new wrecks are. I do know they weren't fisherman hand-outs as Deep Blue is receiving. History is history, truth is truth and I guess if you don't like it lump it. Jealousy is all consuming.

BURT found the Begona? After generations of Dominicans stumbled over it to get into the water maybe....how 'bout the New World Legacy deal? What the deal with the Hispaniola payment plan?

Dominican fishermen aren't the only ones Webber doesn't pay....ask some of his past crew, and MEXP investors...

History is history, and Webber IS history.

Tropicana,
You do have a few names to throw around. But you have got to be kidding. All webber does is solicit information from fishermen. And its also a well known fact that the wreck that he just found the pistols on was given to him by fishermen and instad of publicly thanking them for this info he dosent pay them and lies about finding the wreck with a mag. Great guy. Not sure about Deep Blue however i do know they are pulling up treasure. Do you know what that word means? And if deep Blue was so desperate to post news about two pistols being found then the paper would have a special section to just post Deep Blues daily finds. Believe me you have some info but are very far removed from knowing the whole story

Oh yeah Tropicana. Just wondering? How long to repair the ship after running aground yesterday. Ah dont worry about it the investors money will cover that expense and their time at the bar. Maybe he can mag for more wrecks as he waits for the repairs to be made. NOT!
How in the hell with all the sophisticated equipment on that ship and people who have the great ability to locate wrecks with a high tech magnetometer RUN AGROUND?
You tell me JEALOUSY IS ALL TIME CONUMING? What about stupidity?

Undertaker: Your chit chat line isn't exactly accurate. I've just been informed this morning. R/V Hispaniola anchored off of Luperon and is currently enroute to Puerta Plata for refueling. A corrupt heart sees no truth, knows no truth. Is this your claim to fame little mind? Posting your little vicious digs? Webber himself and alot of pro-associates read each and every one of your comments with humor. Keep trying. Who cares.

The ship has left the dock 5 times in two and a half years and ran aground twice. Great average. Oh and found two pistols. WOW WAY COOL.
Whay do you think Burt? time for a new Captain i would say? Get yourself a Dominican. Oh OH never mind you are a "Racita" never would you hire a person of color. The solo dios Gloria? How do you think the fishermen fealt after they showed you the wreck and you paid only a hundred American Dollars for that great discovery of yours. It reminds me of Micheal Jordan who could have retired on top of his game only to come back and stink up the joint.

Mexp's symbol changed to mexpe? so what does this mean for shareholders? They now are going to be diving but DPBE has been diving pretty much all summer, what's up with that? DPBE has been finding early 15th century coins, and apparently Mayan artifacts! I'll be betting on the BoyScouts, and just maybe soon to be the top dogs! The pistols are great but Silver coins and Mayan relics are a better poker hand!
