Santo Domingo.– The president of Dominican Republic’s major opposition party (PRD) Miguel Vargas Maldonado said the Congress "José Francisco Peña Gómez" will open a new direction
for the country, democracy and equity to walk hand in hand.
During
his opening speech at the Dominican Fiesta Hotel,
Vargas said that the congress will define the political and
social ideology of the party, so that inclusion and integral development
fit in with the actions of power emanating from the National Palace.
He
said that PRD's great challenge is to be once more the vehicle
of change and hope for the people, as it was in 1963, 1978 and will be
in 2012, skipping 2000, when Hipolito Mejia took office.

With the PRD in charge there is NO HOPE, and NO CHANGE BACK FROM YOUR DOLLAR. They will try to keep it all.

PRD = Hope and Change? With them Hope = Hope they do something, anything. Change = All Public Works and repairs stop and almost all Govenment Agencies cease to funciton.
