Santiago.- Santiago prosecutor Yeni Berenice Reynoso revealed Tuesday that the investigation into the attack against the lawyer and journalist Jordi Veras, son of the famed Ramon Antonio Veras (Negro), is almost concluded, and would convene the media at that time.

She asked the citizens to have patience, affirming that all the details of the case will surface shortly.

When asked if the private investigator Francisco Alberto Carela, charged with filming couples in motels is involved in the case, Reynoso said he had visited a person whom he tried to blackmail with the videos and information.

The authorities investigate Carela’s involvement in the June 2 attack on Veras and other incidents involving hired killers, a case in which a National District judge sent Jose Bianney Garcia to jail set bail at 100,000 pesos for Marino Enrique Carela.
