in my opinion a true dominican, this guy wasn't afraid to speak his mind and was super talented at what he did. i loved la escuelota and the way he conducted himself as the professor, this a loss for the entire country rest in peace freddy you will forever be miss.

Freddy, thanks for all of those years of Sunday laughs. My brothers, sister and I crew up watching your program every Sunday. I feel that with your death Dominicans had lost one of our most valuable citizens. R. Duluc NY

OMG!!! When I read the news this morning my heart broke and the tears swelled in my eyes. Don Freddy, was one of the most prolific and iconic figures in Dominican Culture. He was a very giving man to all that needed of him. So much so that most of those working in Dominican Entertainment and/or TV owes him for their success. The DR awoke in sorrow and mourning and today we cry for someone that bought us so much laughter and joy. Don Freddy made out of our tears rays of sunshine. May he bask in God's glory for every time I think of him a smile will come across my face and joy will come into my heart. Just not today. Que Descanse En Paz Don Freddy!!!!!

to all followers of the cult of personality < the truth hurts

I know what goes on at the top levels in business and politics in the Dom Rep . I only tell the truth.
If you cant handle the truth to bad for you.

.Guess who was the hidden hand behind which politicin got air time and what channel could sell what brands ?,

Hows your country doin now form all that free market on the air waves ?

He was a funny guy on tv and he gave money to poor to ammend his sins.

he is not so funny when he may lose a peso.

you can find millions who say leonel helps the poor people and chavez too. Dont be so jaded.

Its all an act, he was an actor/ comedian on the surface

WOW! I was not expecting to read such as bad news today. 70 years is not old, he shouldn't live to at least 84. Rest in peace my friend. You are unique and irreplaceable.
