SANTO DOMINGO.- In the list of the most wanted internationally 40 Dominicans appear in the websites of the FBI, DEA and INTERPOL.
Of INTERPOL’s more than 70 fugitives, there are 11 Dominicans wanted for different crimes such as homicide, drug trafficking and grand larceny, and includes the Puerto Rican Jose Figueroa Agosto and Sobeida Felix, which local authorities have offered a reward of RD$5 million each.
The other Dominicans wanted by INTERPOL are Rafael Tejada Morillo (46), from San Francisco; Eglis Ambiorix Segura (38), Duvergé, and Desiree Violeta Reynoso (34), Salcedo.
Lso Carmen Dilia Ramírez (45), Nizao; Félix Johanny Polanco (35), Santo Domingo; Plácido Armando Pereira (23), Cape Verde; Wendy María Polanco (37), Santo Domingo; Edwards Olea Santana (32), La Romana, and Robinson Díaz (36), from Baní.

SANTO DOMINGO, República Dominicana.- La cárcel está resultando inhabitable para ex banqueros y personas ligadas al delito de cuello blanco.
El ex banquero Leonel Almonte de nuevo se encuentra recluido en el centro de Otorrinolaringología, tras resistirse durante tres días a ingerir alimentos y a bañarse en la cárcel de Najayo.
Mientras que el ex asesor financiero del Banco Interamericano (BANINTER), Luís Álvarez Renta, se encuentra recluido en el Centro de Medicina Avanza y Telemedicina (Cedimat).
Ahí a Álvarez Renta se le practicó una cirugía baríatrica este viernes.

Cape Verde was a Portuguese Colony off the west coast of Africa.... I think the source from DT may have goofed up and included the individual with the Pereira name by mistake, unless this is a Dominican who is a Cape Verdian national... The name Pereira though, could be easily found on people of both Spanish and Portuguese decent.
