SANTO DOMINGO.- The Pilot Adriano Jiménez, who went missing more than a year ago after taking off from Santiago’s Cibao International Airport, together with 10 Dominicans who traveled illegally to the Bahamas, is allegedly conducting commercial flights between Colombia and Jamaica, with another name.
The pilot now calls himself Alan Restrepo, a common last name in Colombia, according to the missing airplane’s owner, Luis Perez, in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
He said his plane, a Trislander registry N650LP, was seen several times painted a different color in Mariquita Airport, in Tolima, Colombia.
The journalist Rafaelina Bisono interviewed Perez in the program on Telemicro channel 5, said who said it’s the first time he speaks on the case considered mysterious from the onset, because no wreckage of the crash was ever found.
