Santo Domingo.- The actress Angelina Jolie visited president Leonel Fernandez last night to coordinate efforts to aid Haiti.
The actress, known for her humanitarian work in needy countries, also visited the quake’s youngest victims in the orthopedic surgery hospital Darío Contreras, where patients and medical personnel welcomed her.
Hundreds of Haitian citizens have been treated in that medical center, many of whom had to undergo an amputation.

The United Nations has mobilized an evacuation force for the adopted children of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie after they announced their divorce yesterday.
After news came through yesterday that Hollywood film stars Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie had split, the United Nations intervened to try and repatriate the adopted children back to where they had been bought.
"This is a huge operation and we are working against time here. We are mobilizing helicopters, trucks and transport aircraft. The amount of children that Angelina adopted is a force to be reckoned with; some of them from Africa, South America and the Far East. It is a massive logistical operation that will take many resources to pull off. We appeal to everyone to show some restraint during the rescue mission," UNICEF's Senior Director of Operations, Gonzalez Demerera, told CNN yesterday.

The UN warned that it will cut off shipments of free medicine beginning immediately to any Haitian hospitals that it finds charging patients, the AP.
UN officials told AP News about 12 hospitals — both public and private — charge patients for medicine. The officials said they could not immediately provide the names of the hospitals but said they were in several parts of the country, including Port-au-Prince, AP.

It seems most of 12 hospitals are private.
The entities with largest inventories of medicines in Haiti are Haitian Government ,UN, Red Cross, USA, DR, and ALBA. It isn't clear whether 12 hospitals that charge will continue to get free medicines from entities other than UN. It's unlikely either DR or ALBA or Haitian Government or Red Cross will continue to supply the 12 mercenary hospitals.
US State Department regulations require US aid be distributed in such a way as to assist the growth of the "private sector."
Jolie may be interested in this.

What stops them from starting to run for president or do they want to become president the old fashion way, the elite's way ?
Since they have invested so much of their wealth in education, in health care, in transportation, in making low interest loans available to farmers in Haiti,they can run .
The can run on their integrity, the works that have done for the poor and the middle class.
Since they have not participated in financing coups resulting in the killing ans maiming of thousands of the poor Haitians, yes the can run.
Since apaid , boulos, baker are visibly helping Haitians along with other rich Haitians during this crisis and they are hiding like a pack of cowards behind their tall walls eating imported cheese and drinking imported wiskies , i beleive that they can become president.
