Santo Domingo. - Starting today Friday the National District Office of the Prosecutor will physically and legally control the luxury condo building Torre Atiemar, whose owner, the Spaniard Arturo del Tiempo, is being held in Madrid for the case of the 1,200 kilos of cocaine shipped from Dominican Republic and seized in Spain.

The Justice Ministry assumes the custody of the building on a ruling issued last night by Instruction Courts Coordinating judge Rosalba Garib, which authorized its confiscation.

A source close to the investigation told newspaper Listin that since last night all the titles to the apartments would be verified to determine if they were bought in good faith. It said if the investigation determines that an owner cannot justify the source of the money to buy an apartment “they’ll have problems with justice.”

The ruling stipulates that the measure aims to assure that the construction of the building would be concluded, while preventing transactions or transfers of any titles of property.

National District prosecutor Alejandro Moscoso said a review would be conducted on the building’s owners to determine whether they are shareholders or buyers in good faith.  “There can be people who bought in the building without having any link with the Spanish businessman (del Tiempo), and for that reason it’s necessary to see this wisely and with calm to not affect anybody.”

They all bought in good faith. Bad faith has to do with how they obtained the money for the purchase.

Police chief Fermin the first one to reserve an apartment there. Go figure how the country quality of life and moral values deteriorated so drastic over the last 15 years. Our hat go out to the liberales ratas the one who created hell during Balaguer's goverment so they could create this mess with our quality of life.

Banreservas miente!

Frente a esto, 7dias.com.do quiere hacer algunas preguntas:
