Santo Domingo. - The group Aventura again proved its wide appeal by winning Dominican Republic’s top entertainment prize, the Casandra awards, with four statuettes including the coveted "Soberano" (sovereign), with which four New York-born singers of Dominican origin take the genre bachata to new heights.
They also won in the categories album of the year for "The last"; bachata of the year, outstanding popular group abroad and best lyrics.
To silence the genre’s critics, Aventura leader Romeo Santos said the Soberano “proves bachata is no longer a style just for drunks and cabarets.”
The event organizers also recognized foreign artists including Haitian rapper Wyclef Jean, who thanked Dominicana Republic for helping his country after the January 12 quake.

This dose of antidote will surely neutralize the poisons spitted daily by:
agent of destruction aka ateo
the perjil cannibal aka carlos franco
the apocalyse zombie aka xwill
did you throw your bra on the stage for aventura and scream when they came on stage?
