Santo Domingo.- Puerto Rico’s Police Superintendent affirmed yesterday that of his compatriot, the fugitive Jose David Figueroa Agosto’s "days in freedom are counted," and affirmed that Puerto Rico’s police has also heightened the search for the feared drug trafficker.

Superintendent Jose Figueroa Sancha also challenged the fugitive to place the RD$30 million price on his head as he did with Dominican Police chief Rafael Guzman and Drugs Control Agency (DNCD) director Rolando Rosado. "A threat against the Dominican Police Chief and against the president of Drugs Control Agency is a threat to Puerto Rico’s Police Superintendence and Puerto Rico’s entire police, so he can look for an additional 30 million pesos because the one who threatens my Dominican brothers also threatens me.”

Figueroa Sancha, after meeting with Guzmán, also pledged Puerto Rico’s Police resources to locate and arrest Figueroa Agosto. "We have all the resources available to catch Agosto and I made a commitment with the President,” he said after also meeting with president Leonel Fernandez.

Talk, talk, talk.

The last thing the "authorities" want is this guy arrested alive. He can take down a lot of important people, and the way he's played his game so far shows that they're no match for his wits, not to mention his financial means.

I'm sure he is a world class chess player.

The blind leading the stupid. This fugitive has enough money to stay safe in the DR forever. Nobody can touch him he has so many people paid off. I think it's great how he is showing the world how corrupt and pathetic our law enforcement is and how totally corrupt we are. If the US was smart they would get this guy alive and take him off the island quickly to get information from him.

Lopez

They both already "catched" him and both have found a way to loose him. I wonder why? I think is just the fact that both are corrupt and useless at their position and both are due for a good replacement if you ask me.

The Puerto Rican Chief can't control petty nickel bag sellers in San Juan. People in Puerto Rico are terrified of going out during the day or night.

So stop the rhetoric, your the guys who let him escape in the first place, Bori!

If he over in Cuba, The Seychelles, Mangola, Cambodia, Korea, You will never ever see him again. And, he could call you and give the World his forwarding address and it would be nothing USA and or D.R. can do with regards to prosecuting the Mastermind. Run Partner. Run. My HERO ! Just Stay out the air would be my suggestion. If they catch you you wont make it to the Jail cell. made them look too bad and like amatures. Which they are and we all know. Now it's just the whole entire world know how inept the entire police, and government department here is and will always be.

There are times when I'm ashamed to say I am Dominican.
It is rumored that even the President is involved in this.

rodrigito,

My brother, never be ashamed of being Dominican!

We are a fine people, unfortunately our baskets a t this historic moment happens to have more ROTTEN APPLES than others; but just like we got rid of Trujillo we shall get rid of Trujillismo and those who currently practice his criminal behavior!

This is how these bastards win, temporarily; they wear us down and trying to demoralize and get us into self-loathing. They want us to throw in the towel so we think it’s hopeless and they can continue to steal and enjoy a very good life at the expense of the rest of us.

Just remember history is full of episodes of even bigger tyrants than these and in the end the all perish. So our national nightmare too shall pass sooner than latter!

La lección de Los Haitises

Wilfredo Lozano
