Pedernales.- The National Investigations
Agency (DNI) the J-2 and the Specialized Frontier Security Corps have arrested
six foreign nationals who tried to cross the border from the Dominican Republic
into Haiti.
The men, three from Bangladesh, two from India
and one from Haiti, tried to cross the border in a pickup truck license plate
L139980 without going through the necessary migration procedures.
The Bangladeshis were named as Shalim
Ullah, Masum Ahmed and Ruhul Amin. The Indians were named as Dhandapani
Eshumalai and Susanta Mandal, and the Haitian simply as Jorel. Intelligence
agencies believe that the two Indian nationals had been living in the La
Cuarenta area of Pedernales without documentation for some time.

etieennc,
I have many haitian friends and have nothing againts any race, but there needs to be some control on the Dominican side of border... This is going to get out of hand and we can not have that happen... Why can a haitian cross over the border with no questions asked but when I come via airplane I have to fill out the stupid little sheet that asks a ton of questions like:
how am I arriving and departing?
where am I staying?
how much $$$ do I have on me?
what is the purpose of my trip?
I also have to show my pasport so they could check me out...
An illegal can commit a crime and they would not know anything about this person and no proof that he was ever in DR...
Also, why do I have to buy a tourist visa and illegals do not? Not fair bro...

Guys,
Ever hear of human trafficking? Body parts are a big business world wide, and while no one can state if these people were out to do such "business," it wouldn't surprise me. The border needs some serious attention, perhaps the Israelis can lend a hand with expertise, we have cheap labor available.

The border has to be developed and no longer be a no man's land. That will foster business on both sides. More Dominican's should set up branches of their business on the haitian side. It will create plenty of jobs. Not for everybody but it's a start. Then many Haitians will want to stay in Haiti and visit DR and spend their gourdes as tourists.
Too many other foreign nationals have unfettered access to DR not just Haitians. The immigration department should be looking at all those germans overstaying their visas too and charge em!!!
Haiti needs to create dual citizenship fast so it's nationals can return as well, they can help save haiti from the Haitians in Haiti....Just the facts.

Remind them about the First Amendment to the United States Constitution.
Freedom of speech is the freedom to speak without censorship and/or limitation. The synonymous term freedom of expression is sometimes used to indicate not only freedom of verbal speech but any act of seeking, receiving and imparting information or ideas, regardless of the medium used. In practice, the right to freedom of speech is not absolute in any country and the right is commonly subject to limitations, such as on "hate speech".
The right to freedom of speech is recognized as a human right under Article 19 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and recognized in international human rights law in the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR). The ICCPR recognizes the right to freedom of speech as "the right to hold opinions without interference.

jarabacoa get a life and stop playing the victim role. all you do is start fires with this unification talk so stop acting surprised. you must have gotten sum good head from a haitian an he ended up making you talk all of this nonsense. by the way did you read the ricky martin article? that should be some good inspiration for you. their is no problem to fix except the problem of you talking crap on here. do all of us a favor you fake jarabacoensa and just erase your account. if you want to talk about unification then go to everything haitian.com. they would love to have you on there. wouldnt you be amongst your people? one thing trujillo did right was protect the dominican border and preserve the dominican culture which is something you have no respect for or know anything of. i welcome haitians that contribute to dominican culture and dominican society with the work they put forth. all the beggers and buns in the oven and the elderly must flee with haste.
