Wanted: José David Figueroa Agosto and Sobeida Féliz Morel
Santo Domingo.- National
District Prosecutor Alejandro Moscoso Segarra confirmed yesterday that the people seen in security
video images from a Puerto Rican shopping mall were indeed fugitives
José Figueroa Agosto and Sobeida Félix Morel.
Moscoso Segarra said that the Prosecutors Office had no
doubt that the people in the film were the fugitives. “As far as we are concerned the video is real, there is no
doubt and it matches with reality”.
He revealed that staff from the National District
Prosecutors Office had traveled to Puerto Rico and in coordination with the
local authorities had spoken to workers in the store, showing them photos of the
two fugitives. The employees said that they had shopped in
their store, and that this confirms that the security camera images are those
of Figueroa Agosto and Félix Morel.
Moscoso Segarra called on the Puerto Rican authorities to
step up efforts to find Figueroa Agosto and Sobeida Félix, who are wanted for
drug trafficking and asset laundering in the DR.
Figueroa Agosto and Sobeida Félix are on the run following
the discovery of US$4.6 million in a luxury vehicle parked at an apartment
block in Santo Domingo’s La Esperilla neighborhood last September.

Folks. Calm down. Let's not join the game of "fixing the blame" that the involved governments have chosen rather that to fix their respective problems. The guy was locked up at the Metropolitan Detention Center, Guaynabo in San Juan...not Leavenworth or Atlanta or even Miami...San Juan. How many of his relatives, employees, cohorts do you think are detained there? How many are COs? This guy has amassed a fortune in the drug trade and he knows who and how to con and to bribe. His escape was a team effort and when he is reincarcerated (and he will be) he will find himself in much less familiar surroundings where he needs an overcoat for his yard time 6 months out of the year.

something doesn't add up here. we know he is wanted in the dr and in pr for escaping the federal prison system but for some reason he's not news in the usa and is not making headlines or the even the comics, sports page or the gossip column. which is strange because pr is part of the usa and if he escaped he should be making headlines. which only leaves the presumption that he is working for the dea or fbi and they gave him a get out of jail pass to help solve some high narco trafficking case, that's it folks don't bust your brains over this. if he is caught by the dr authorities they will kill him, if he is caught in pr he will go back to prison for some time but will not receive the 200+ years instead he will get a time reduction and probably do 10-20 years.
