Santo Domingo.- The National District Office of the Prosecutor and the Drugs Control Agency (DNCD) conducted at least six searches, including the the luxury condo tower Atiemar, of the upscale sector La Esperilla, looking for evidence leading to the traffickers who shipped 1,200 kilos of cocaine from Dominican Republic, seized in Spain last week.
One person whose name wasn’t revealed is being held in connection to the case, as the authorities continued the searches in residential sectors yesterday.
Justice minister Radhamés Jiménez and DNCD chief Rosado Rolando and other officials met in the former’s office, in which sources affirm U.S. investigators participated.
