Santo Domingo. - Dominican Air Force Chief of staff Carlos Rafael Altuna Tezanos affirmed Thursday that frequently detected drug trafficking flights have decreased in the last eight months and that national security has improved.

In that regard The senior officer said national security has improved not only with the Air Force, but the Drugs Control Agency (DNCD) and all the military branches, which he affirms are better trained and better equipped to fight crime, international drug trafficking, terrorism among other threats to the national territory.
