Santo Domingo. - Dominican Air Force Chief of staff Carlos Rafael Altuna Tezanos affirmed Thursday that frequently detected drug trafficking flights have decreased in the last eight months and that national security has improved.

He said after the Super Tucano intercept airplanes arrived only five unknown aircraft have been detected on radar, presumably used by international drug traffickers, statement which comes one day after Armed Forces minister Pedro Rafael Penna also claimed a reduction in the illegal air incursions.

Altuna, interviewed during an activity to mark the Dominican Navy’s166th anniversary, affirmed that in other occasions when a higher number of drug landings and airdrops were detected, they’ve been prevented or captured by antinarcotics, military and Police agents.

In that regard The senior officer said national security has improved not only with the Air Force, but the Drugs Control Agency (DNCD) and all the military branches, which he affirms are better trained and better equipped to fight crime, international drug trafficking, terrorism among other threats to the national territory.

That's because the USA controlling the airspace now from Haiti. No more easy narco shipments. Then USA donated new speed boats. No more excuses. Shit about to get tight around here. Money drying up already. Dealers are already selling off assets trying to maintain. Unfinished developments scattered all across the D.R. USA here to stay is I can say. Once we invade we never ever leave.

guys are getting a first hand look at the concept of the DRUG CONDUIT LIFE CYCLE. it is very simple. all transhipment nuclei have a short and finite life span. guys make the best of it while it lives, and then it moves elsewhere. a group of guys gets filthy rich, real estate booms, car dealers get fat. then , the clamps come down, courtesy of Uncle Sam. numbskulls in economic reportage see skyscrapers and condos sprouting like mushrooms, and tell the general public that ¨the economy is doing just dandy ¨. then, when new car sales are off by 40%, and construction stops everywhere, they blame it on the ¨world downturn ¨. no, guys. its the DEA.
