Santo Domingo.- The National District 1st Collegiate Court today Friday sentenced Pablo Villamán Toribio and Dino Roman Castillo to 10 years in prison for the killing of three men in the discotheque Loft, and its owner to pay five million pesos in damages to each one of the parents of the victims,.

The victims, Yasser Alberto Nader, Ignacio Mañón and Fidel Ernesto Estévez were killed in a shootout at 11:30 p.m. on May 23, 2007, in the parking lot of the Loft discotheque.

According to the indictments, an argument over a cat call to a woman who accompanied one of the victims led to the shootout.

And in about a month when the storm passes these scumbags will buy their way out of jail for $10,000 a piece. Take that to the bank.

Mason, you are correct. They will be free to roam the streets of SD, before nochebuena 2010. Althought due to inflation is will be more like $20K each . They certainly will be housed in VIP cells and not be with the general populace. Life is good in the DR. It only takes a few chelitos and everything is cool.. God help the poor folks, who get poorer each day that passes !

The Court was fair. The crime deserved 20, there were 2 accused, thence 10 each. Dominican logics at work.

Yasser Nader wa a friend of mine. He was a bright, pleasant, and polite young man. He is missed.
And by the way we are no longer a developing country. This is what we are, and always will be.

ya, they could live the high life while locked up, they also can be shived for 2000 peso's

lot's a lucky because they'll need it....having all that stuf that somebody else will want...

keep in mind that the body guard could be the guy with the shive, and it does not have to have anything to do with killing three people, but everything to do with having all the comforts of home...

think about it...
I'd stab em for his shoes
