The kidnappers got what they deserved. It's a shame the little girl didn't survived.

Ateo,

Police units are well-organized, and they are working for the other side.

I suppose we need a "caudillo", and five-minute trials and very prompt hangings from nearest lamp post. Then, peace and order could be restored, and we could start with clean slate to build our country, premise on constitution [real one] and rule of law. Maybe then we could begin to feel respected by outside world. some Dominicans cannot comprehend the concept of a well-dressed thug in a yipeta just being a thug. Sad.

From another source: The mother (who is also a medical doctor) was driving a Honda SUV, and a woman (Griselda Nuñez) approached her to ask how to get to the highway. When the mother rolled down the window, a man (Guillermo Vargas) pointed a gun at the driver, got in the vehicle along with the woman, and they took off. Vargas allegedly told the mother that he was taking them to Haiti, then called somebody and said that they had left him on his own. The SUV flipped over, both kidnappers and the 15-y-o girl died, and the mother suffered a couple of broken bones, lacerations and concussions

From what I heard, Griselda was doing the dirty work of her deported man. Her family thought she was just a hooker, not a kidnapper. Her body was yet to be claimed at the morgue for her family fears reprisal from the doctor's husband. She leaves behind a pregnant teenage daughter. This case is very sad, but it shows the direction a lot of people are headed if more opportunities are not made available to them.
