Puerto Plata. – Antinarcotics (DNCD) agents arrested in the local airport three Canadian women who were about to board a flight to their country with five pumpkins stuffed with more than eight kilos of a white powder, presumably cocaine or heroin.
Allen Rivett Lindsa, 22, Elherd Khadija, 19, and Agustine Clorianne, 20, were arrested prior to boarding Air Transat flight 783 to Montreal, the DNCD said.
It adds that the foreigners, who had stayed in a Puerto Plata hotel, were arrested at around 7:30 p.m. at Luperon International Airport

even before i had a chance to read the whole story i knew its was in pop... they are all set ups done by dominican dealers they set up these young people they think they can trust the dominicans so they do a deal or two then the dominican drug dealers call in the police to make all look like heros and they are doing something.
this is happing way to many times in pop...

1. In pumpkins? How stupid can they be? I don't know how big (or small) Dominican pumpkins are. Here, those for Halloween are in average 35-50 cm. They were trying to get on and hoped to get in with 5 pumpkins???
You can't even bring in mangos.
2. 19-20-22 years old..... Rather young! Were they trying to get easy $ in a quick stupid deal after school?
3. The important is for "authorities" of both countries to find out where this came from and where it was going.

There timing is way off....they should of tryed this stunt / crap around the month of September or late October, besides fruits of any sort are not allowed on an international flight.
Maybe they thought there youth and good looks would not bring attention ? in the DR ?
19-20-22 year old Females in a nasty Dominican jail.......these 3 will sing like birds.
They forgot to say nope to dope and ug to drugs.
There's nothing funny about this......

Hi ..im a friend of family to one of the girls i can tell you that its really destroying there lives and that girl was not even smoking cigarette or anything she just graduated and first time traveling in the south... iknow its very stupid and personaly i dont eveing know why or how you can be this stupid i know that for millions i would never risque my life but some girls are just naive
All i want to know is what going to happen to them and how can we do something cause its really sad i have read some article on the jail in Republic Dominican and i cant think about what they going to do with them its really not a punishment for little girls and i know they've done wrong and got cut but they must be a different justice then to let them die or suffer or even worst thing that i don't want to think about ...can someone please give me more information.thank you

I really not sure, but this I do do know about the DR justice system it's all about money for possible fines & large attorney fees but the most importatnt thing is putting your trust and faith in GOD.
May I add if possible have the Family and close friends visit the 3 in prison as much as possible.
