SANTO DOMINGO.- The Center for Justice and International Law (Cejil) announced Wednesday it will file its own suit in the Inter-American Court of Human Rights against the Dominican Government for the forced disappearance of professor Narciso González (Narcisazo) in 1994.

Cejil representatives Annette Martinez and Francisco Quintana said they’ll be imitating the legal action within three months.

They said the Dominican authorities will have to explain in that international Court why the Government shouldn’t be found guilty the violations listed by the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights, against the journalist and university professor university who disappeared shortly after publicly accusing then president Joaquin Balaguer of fraud in the general elections of May 16, 1994.
