SANTO DOMINGO.- Puerto Rican fugitive Jose Figueroa Agosto recruited many people to help launder  money, starting with Police colonel Jose Amado González, who as an official, protected all the illegal transactions until September 3, 2009.

According to the indictments presented by the National District Office of the Prosecutor, through González, Figueroa met the also indicted Madeline Bernard, Eddy Brito, Sammy Dauhajre and Ivanovich Smester. It adds that through those the fugitive met Sobeida Felix, Mary Peláez, Juan Jose Fernandez Ibarra and Adolfina Peláez (Dolphy), in different dates.

It states that through his criminal network the fugitive bought a series of properties, none of them under his identities, to keep the name of their true proprietor hidden.

August also bought, through the ghost companies Saanich, S.A., a 1,200 meter square lot in San Pedro (east), and through Balderton Enterprise, S.A., allegedly managed by Gonzalez, apartment 4-C of the condo building Torre Serena, placed under his name and of his wife, Madeline Bernard.

He also bought via the official, Plaza Capeti, located in Verón, Bavaro (east), whereas thought Sammy Dauhajre acquired a 2,769,40 square meter lot in Higüey, accompanied by Michael Dauhajre in the contract.

Also apartments 201 and 202 in the Torre Bolivar, the first paid through the alleged Puerto Rican front man Elvin Medina, alias Jose Miguel Marrero Martell, and the second by the fugitive himself, and transferred to the ghost company MNS International Business Group.

Through Felix he allegedly bought apartments 14 and 15-B  the Torre Alco Paradisso, for US$549,000 and US$605,000, in cash and checks. Through Bernard and González, he bought a residence located in street F, No.5 in the upscale sector Arroyo Hondo, which he later tried to transfer to the unregistered company Charmeville, S.A.

In March 10, 2004, through Kilsis Madeline Batista, relative of Leavy Yadira Nin Batista, acquired apartment 601 in the Torres Palmeras, Enriquillo avenue in the upscale sector Renacimiento, whereas through Sammy Dauhajre and Fernandez Ibarra bought apartment 11-E, in the Torre Pedro Henríquez Ureña, in the downtown sector La Esperilla.

OK, lets not focus on what he owns. Lets get back to the reall shit here. We all know that money talks and bullshit walks. How about questioning the Treasury Department for not inforcing the law. None of this would have accured if some one was doing there job. If the president can't get indicted, VAMOS A CONDENAR LOQUE TRAVAJAN POR EL.

You know this story is a big joke!!! How long have these people been investigating this case? They always appear to be busy but they never acomplish anything!!! Here is an idea for the Dominican authorities dont mention this case anymore!!! Because all you are doing is creating a world wide spectacle and proving how incompetent and corrupt are judicial system is!!!!!
Just release everybody who you have in custody now because you are never going to prosecute them!!!
Its better that you do it now instead of waiting later on the year to release them and say "NOT ENOUGH EVIDENCE"
Eventually there will be a body found supposedly Figueroa and then all his assets will be released to his familly and you know business as usual!!!!!
Lets just hope it happens soon, because this story is a national embarrassment just like el caso paya!!!!!!!
