SANTO DOMINGO.- The country’s most wanted fugitive couple, the Puerto Rican Jose Figueroa Agosto was arrested in the street Loiza, Santurce, at 11 a.m. Saturday, and his paramour the Dominican fugitive Sobeida Felix turned herself in around 8 hours later.
Quoting sources, newspaper elnuevodia.com said Figueora, also known as Junior Capsula, was arrested after a chase by authorities.
In Santo Domingo, the Presidency’s Press director Rafael Nuñez confirmed Figueroa’s arrest by federal and local agents.
According to Puerto Rico´s online newspaper elnuevodia.com, Figueroa Agosto is credited the management of major drugtrafficking ring that included contacts in Colombia and Venezuela, with partners over the air carrying narcotics –specifically cocaine– to the Dominican Republic east region, where it was collected and finally taken to Puerto Rico in speedboats.
Felix, who had skipped bail in Dominican Republic in September, turned herself in hours later after the authorities cordoned off a large area of Santurce where she was hiding out.

A matter that should be given real consideration is to move him out of PR to an undisclosed location in the states. The closer he is to his home environment the closer he is to harm. hellborn..having seen the administration of the justice system ,,that is the law and order process as conducted by the police and the courts ,,I can say first hand that the system is riddled with corruption and mal practice.
Yes , as you have stated, many of the articles here are short on details and many comments are simply rhetoric, and yes, I am sure that there are good people in the government offices ..but in fact money does count here and justice is not distributed fairly nor evenly .
The wonderful thing here is that the reign of terror and bribery that Figueroa headed in the DR has hopefully come to an end and hopefully justice will be handed out to those who assisted his crimes ,,but I very much doubt it ,,in most other countries there would be a total purge of the rotten people in official positions who assisted him ..but I doubt if we will see much action here in the DR.

The wonderful thing here is that the reign of terror and bribery that Figueroa headed in the DR has hopefully come to an end and hopefully justice will be handed out to those who assisted his crimes ,,but I very much doubt it ,,in most other countries there would be a total purge of the rotten people in official positions who assisted him ..but I doubt if we will see much action here in the DR.
