Santo Domingo.- Sobeida Felix had fled Dominican Republic through the eastern zone to Puerto Rico aboard a speedboat sent by her paramour Jose Figueroa Agosto, reports news source diariolibre.com.

Quoting sources, it said Dominican and Puerto Rican authorities revealed the manner in which Felix left the country after her release on bail. She had also revealed that Figueroa advised her to leave Dominican Republic because her life was in danger.

Figueroa reportedly sent a friend with the speedboat, which weighed anchor from the eastern region towards Puerto Rico, from where he communicated with Felix through cell phone calls and messages via a Blackberry.

The Puerto Rican murder convict is being held in a high security federal facility in his country whereas Felix is being held Najayo prison.

Blackberry is garbage, apple and droid are the future. I would think that someone that was on bail of such high profile would have had a police tail 24/7

If the speedboat can reach to the offshore of DR, which means the illegal drugs activities can be active all the time.

That means the security control on the sea shore line is useless......

Ha, hundreds of drug smuggling trips by speedboats come to the USA, and I haven't seen your comments about it.

So, where is the U.S. NAVY (with all the best technologies: sonars, satellites, predators), y mil agencias mas (NSA, FBI, ATF, CIA, etc...), and with all that, USA is the country with the most drugs and illegal border crossings (land, air, sea)... Y!!!
