Santo Domingo.- The lawyer for the money laundering defendant Sobeida Felix denounced Wednesday that his client is being held in solitary confinement in the jail  at Najayo, where he affirms she’s subjected to a discriminatory and unfair treatment.

Felix Portes also said she’s not allowed to talk with any inmate, visit the yard or attend any of the facility’s educative programs, and against which he has filed a challenge in the court at San Cristobal.

The lawyer for the paramour of the Puerto Rican drug trafficker and murder convict José Figueroa Agosto said the jail’s authorities informed him that all the restrictions are for her own safety.

“It’s because they don’t trust the guards who are keeping watch over her,” adding that she only receives visits by her relatives and himself.

Seems sensible to me. Put her in with the rest of the inmates and her chances of survival would be about zero

Agree basically with #1 but not "attend any of the facility’s educative programs"

- this is indeed and outrage.

The lawyer of Sobeida is a criminal before in NY, he was deported by the US because of narcotic crime.

Funny thing is: when he talks about the human right, does he know how many people/family that he destroyed before when he was in the narcotic crime? where are those innocent families members human right?

I'm sorry but when I read Sobeida I was expecting an old Dominican lady with a hair net on her hair, a moomoo and a bushel of platanos in her hand...

Fashion model, those are the worst! Criminals come in all shapes and forms. Look at her and you're looking at the face of an alleged notorious criminal.
