Santo Domingo.- Dominican Republic’s top prelate on Tuesday apologized to the hundreds of youngsters of the different schools who yesterday attended the mass to mark Childhood Rights Day for the abuses of pedophile catholic priests around the world.

“We apologize for the priests who have abused children," said Cardinal Nicolas de Jesus Lopez Rodriguez during the Gospel of the Eucharist.

After the mass, the Cardinal also referred to the spate of violence and heightened drug abuse affecting the country. "Drug trafficking is seriously penetrating, these people donot believe in anybody."

He added that a police agent cannot “throw a compliment” to someone who’s coming to kill them. “In all honesty we’re against a reality that it’s not easy to emit a sensible judgment, the thugs don’t understand a kid glove."

One only has to look into the history of the "Church of Rome" one would think this is only been the last 25 years or so......Why not look back like....... the California mission system and current day Mexico, Central and South America talk about abuse who are they trying to kid.

They'll have to make one big ol confession with 1 billion "Our Father's" and 1 billion "Holy Mary's" topped off with a Jesus qoute "Go and Sin no more" my son.

Example: Religion is man made....Faith is GOD inspired.

If I would know of anyone to be a Saint or an angel sent by God, anyone, please , please , please ,... Let me know. Any God's angels out there listening ?

Otherwise, I would not leave my 2,000 years old catholic religion. Priest are not saints, they are human and thus should be thought of as humans.

Do you want to believe in $$ - the market is just coming out of a depression...

I am not putting my faith on a 50 years old station church who call themselves saved because they read the Bible. . Please!! ¿Evangelicals? Please, Please.

Don't get me wrong I respect your beliefs that's between you and GOD.

I grew up Catholic. NO ONE...NOT ONE IS A SAINT OR ANGEL we all fall short including myself but at least I have a conscious, wisdom, common semse and morals to know the differance.

As far as money I will admit I like money just like everybody else the differance is I wont kill, cheat, rob, steal or swindle for it....it's what one does with it that counts, it's the value man places on money I'm reminded of "Give onto Ceasar whats is Ceasar's", "One can't take it with you", "Money is the root of all evil" and my favorite "One can't buy your way into heaven"

Over flowing problems, I see.......you should pre-heat that mondongo LEFT OVERS to at least 150 degrees for about a good 20 mins. with constent stiring that way it kills all the bacteria.

I guess that's what happens when many flock to say "Bless me father" for I have sinned in a dark little room all alone and the only thing seperating the two is a wire mesh metal screen, the human mind goes wild hearing such details for years. And to think many Religous men will use that excuse to take advantege of the innocent young faithful.
