SANTO DOMINGO.- The Presidency’s Antinarcotics adviser asked the money laundering defendant Sobeida Felix to reveal information on the politicians allegedly linked to the Puerto Rican murder convict and her paramour Jose Figueroa Agosto’s network.
Marino Vinicio (Vincho) Castillo asked Felix to for once do something good for the country and reveal the names of the personalities who may be connected with Figueroa’s network.
The official spoke when reporters asked him about Felix’s statement on Monday, that “half the country should be in the bench of the accused,” because of the many people she said knew Figueroa.
In a related topic Castillo yesterday rejected that the United States has provided to the local authorities the list of the 27 senior Dominican officers, including generals, allegedly involved in drug trafficking.
He said the Government doesn’t have that information and on the contrary expects the US to reveal their names, to launch an investigation. “If we don’t have the information we cannot do anything…that is a rumor. It would be good for the U.S. to share those names with the country."
