Santo Domingo.- Several personalities have proposed shuttering the Government’s Anti-corruption Department (DPCA) as inoperative and a burden on taxpayers.
Guillermo Moreno, president of the political movement Alianza Pais, yesterday suggested that the Justice Ministry investigate the cases of corruption, because "it doesn’t make any sense to maintain such an agency which doesn’t have any use."
The radio producer Ramon Colombo also weighed in on the controversy unleashed by Anticorruption Agency director Hotoniel Bonilla, who on Monday admitted the Justice Ministry’s failure in the war on corruption.
“What he should do is resign, he’s not there to make denouncements. Proceed,” Colombo said on Monday in the 91.3 FM morning radio talk show.

"Failure"
Him and everyone one of you pathologically corrupt politicians.
You are embarrassing, he is only speaking the truth. Something that is impossible for Dominicans to do.
so the DPCA was a failure before it began, b/c the Gov was never serious about providing the needed supplies to help it succeed.
