Santo Domingo.-  The National District 3rd Collegiate Court today issued a bench warrant for the arrest of a Prosecution witness in the trial against the 22 defendants in the case of the seven Colombians murder in Paya, Bani (south).

The judges Alina Mora, Rafael Pacheco and Ramona de los Santos ordered the arrest Alberto Domínguez Gabirol Soto and set the next hearing for 9 a.m. Thursday, to get the witness escorted to court.

Thee judges also subpoenaed general Napoleon Terrero and colonel Elvin Soriano to testify in the process.

The Justice Ministry and the defense had motioned the court to issue the arrest warrant against Gabirol, allegedly the driver for Jose Luis Montas (El Duro Motors), to determine the phone number of a call the latter had received at the time and site of the murders.
